An overwhelming majority of people think Jari has been developing one of the most elaborate scams in the history of music by making false promises and preying on people's naivety, consequently stealing huge amounts of money from them. Just to be clear, I'm a huge fan of Wintersun and don't agree with this view - I'm just reporting what people generally say and think about this band.

Someone should build Jari a decent editing workstation. I guess he's used to working on a mac for protools etc, but you can get a lot more bang for your buck by building pc yourself and going with windows or linux. I built a video editing rig for the media guy at work, he was skeptical because he had only edited media on macs, but with a threadripper cpu and obscene amounts of fast ram, a quadro gpu and terabytes of m.2 nvme storage and a lot more in reasonably fast network attached storage, he's not going back to apple for editing suites ever again he says. The only reason at this point for an apple ecosystem is if you're locked into it, or you have endless financial resources to support it.

They both have compositions in the same bombastic way. The orchestral isolated tracks are fucking amazing from a music theoretical and compositional point of view

I was very reluctant to buy the Time package and was almost laughing at it BUT after watching this video, I think it's a no brainer to get it. Jari did something great in including all those pre Wintersun demos, it's a ton of material to discover on top of the second part of Time, it's an amazing gift for a true fan of the band. It took a ridiculous amount of time but I'm pretty sure now it will be worth the wait and the money. By the way, everything I heard on this video sounds fantastic! TIME to listen to the discography again!

Jari.....this is incredible Like others have mentioned. The Way of the Fire without live recording distractions is just beautiful. You threw an actual curveball though. I don't think anybody speculated you'd be opening your musical heart to us by dropping 5 HOURS of music from the early days. I'm astounded. This would be like discovering unreleased music from the Hatebreeder days from Children of Bodom. I'm so absolutely pumped, and couldn't wait a second to commit to this project.

Does Sons of Winter and Stars contain references to Time 2 songs in the very first lines? The awakening of darkened skies -> Storm The symphony of dying lights -> One with the Shadows ("old and dying sun...") I'm not someone who write comments on RU-vid but I must say this: there are times that are most of them normal but there are also times to make history. This is like when Mozart, Debussy, Liszt, Chopin or whatever music master release their music and share it to the world. I hope you Jari know this. You became that sort of music master. And with all of you guys, Kai, Jukka and Teemu, I have no words than thank you for all you did and for all you will do. History will always remember you guys. Cheers!

Amazing, thank you, Jari and the Wintersun Boys! The sound clips are fantastic, 'Storm' sounds so chaotic, I love it! 'One with the Shadows' sounds also incredible, I expected something different, but this is even better! And thank you for keeping 'Silver Leaves' a mystery for now!

Jari was absolutely correct to withhold this album for so long until he got the right sound. Time I sounds pretty weak in comparison. I mean it sounded great 12 years ago, but the jump in quality is just massive. Can't wait to hear Time I being remastered (again) to match the quality of Time II.

I have been telling myself for more than a decade that this album is definitely gonna fail because its impossible to top Time I and the expectations we all have on Time II. At some point I even got on board with the trollers because I was pretty certain that this album was never gonna be released. But I have no word's after listening to this. This is even better than I could ever possibly imagine!!!! Amazing stuff. Unbelievable that you can live op to the hype!!

Time 1 was released my freshman year of college, when I was just 18 years old. I will be 30 years old when the Time 2 album is released in August. I am so damn excited and I can tell it is all worth the wait. Wintersun will is on such a different level than any other band.

No kidding, I cried in the car on my way to work today while listening to this. I was 15 when I found Wintersun in 2005, now I'm 34. Wintersun is easily the most important band in my life, although it have been tough sometimes to wait for the new albums. Thanks a lot Jari for making this happen and congratulations on a job well done, thanks for hangning in there. Now I just have to stay alive until the last of august.

Well, I was basically fresh out of high school when the first Wintersun album came out, and now I’m 39yrs old. It took forever and a day, but like many of us, always trusted our patience would be rewarded… and here we are. Couldn’t have hit that preorder button any quicker. Cheers! 🎉

Absolute epicness. Storm sounds like mountains and bedrock crumbling all the way to lava. Earthshakingly massive and crystal clear like masterfully cut diamond.

Passed the 100% goal and rising. The scary thing is how close The Way of the Fire recorded version sounds to the various live recordings and amalgamations that have been on RU-vid for a while. Hope you'll pick the guitar up again live Jari, just offload a few vocal duties to the others or a backing track, if anyone's got an excuse to do that it's you!
