Hey Katie! I have enjoyed this WIP and chat so much. I work as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for students K-12 and every student I work with is special in their own ways. I strive to focus on their needs and tap into their interests. It amazes me what capabilities people with special needs have to offer because they are all unique! I’m blessed to be able to inspire those who come into my room for sessions!

Every time you mention Skipp and Connor's bond my heart melts! I think big part of their bonding is because you left Skipp in Connor's room when he first came home, and now he associates Connor's smell with security and comfort which probably helped to make their bond so strong. Hopefully Dolce warms up to him soon or at least tolerate him more 😽 Honestly I think it was fun having Adam in this WIP and chat! is good to see something different once in a while. BTW the salute emote on PC is this 🖖which I doubt that's what was on Adam's phone 😂

I thing the biggest thing for using multiple colors in a single tray is to still focus on one color at a time, but it keeps you from pouring or changing colors in the tray so much. It works really well for someone like me that kits up directly into trays vs containers (I know that’s not feasible for everyone). Also a hint would be to put the cover back on the tray before you pour into the containers, it’ll keep that back color from going over the divider.

🫡Sorry I’m behind on wip n chats as I like to save them only for my days I can do diamond painting and the past month or so my body has been at war with itself (gotta love chronic illnesses) but I’m catching up and must say I really enjoyed Adam making a special appearance in this weeks video! Also I’m a complete puddle after all you Connor and Skipp stories, am SO excited for Micah’s new school and the resources that’s they can hopefully provide him!!!! Sending good vibes and prayers that Adam finds a job that he falls in love with asap and as always sending you Katie all my love from one unofficially diagnosed Autistic/ADHDer to another ❤

I have family members on the spectrum and yes, they have amazing qualities and talents. Those brains are amazing. My nephew studied abroad for a year (on his own) and lives in Taiwan teaching English and has done so for several years. Overcoming challenges OR using them to his advantage has been his MO-he's been wildly successful.

I love the "I can do this" attitude. I have to tell myself that anytime there is change. I think I would also question having 2 colors in one tray. I am nervous about putting the wrong color on, but then I've done that without working with 2 colors at a time, so I'm not sure 😅. Tuxedo cats are chaotic 😅 I have one. He is most likely trying to burrow under the rug. Mine does that with blankets all the time. Love that Adam joined you.

🫡 Interesting fact about different types of railroad crossings. I didn’t know that. Learned something new and also never noticed the salute emoji before this. I just wanted to let you know that I’m one of those people who watch the WIP. I enjoy listening to what’s going on in others lives. I wish Adam all the luck in his new endeavors with the writing and job search. I’m sure everything will work out fine. They say when one door closes another opens. This may have worked out for the better for him. He may find something he enjoys more. I try to think positive. 😊

Good luck on your son’s re-eval! I’m sure it will go well, but if you need someone to talk to, I’m here 😊 I used to have to conduct re-evals all the time when I taught SPED 😊👍🏻 I definitely hope you are able to pursue a diagnosis for yourself. It definitely changed my life, and yes, neurodivergent people have AMAZING abilities! 😊

Loved the WIP and chat. It was nice to hear your husband And sending prayers for successful career advancement! Sometimes employment isn’t worth what it is doing to your health and sometimes even your home life. My daughter reduced a kitten back on July 4. He was nothing but a handful. She has had another cat for about four years. Charlie is a female(4) and Mr Mr is almost seven months and is a male. Soo many changes. They have come to love each other and Charlie has finally started to stand up for herself. Including a smack with a hiss. They both get nervous if they don’t know where the other one is. My daughter is always saying love not hate. Lol. But Just remember patience!! Your boys sound so precious. And you both sound like amazing parents. You guys are hilarious!! And yes God bless caffeine! The other side of coming down. Not so fun. I will keep you in my prayers 🙏🙏. 🫡. My salute guy only has HALF A HEAD!! ???

Hi Katie. I love that you’re open to feedback and with that in mind…. 😉. You seem really clever with how you pick up the diamonds. The angle and sometimes some separated on the pen? It’s hard to tell. I’d love to see your WIP and chat angle similar to how Christianne does for her timelapse’s. it’s from the left with more of an angle to the canvas. It’s hard to see through your hands. :). Maybe Adam or Cristinanne could help you try it out?

Don't worry, Adam & Katie. God will guide your way! Work politics sucks. It's toxic & Adam is brave & passionate & also sounds like a perfectionist, well not exactly a perfectionist but you know what I mean. Adam is just like my dad. My dad while growing up always carved these words in to my head " If you're going to do something, Masha do it right, or don't bother doing it at all." or he'd say "If you are going to do something put 200% of effort in to it, if you can't, don't bother wasting time, you will never succeed or be proud of yourself. So, hearing Adam say he wanted to do things his way which felt like putting in 200% effort & producing quality results. He can leave his job with his head held high & with confidence. I think maybe this is what my dad meant when he said "or you won't be proud of yourself." An epiphany in the middle of a WIP & chat! who would have thought!! May God guide Adam's steps & may the Holy Spirit give him wisdom & put the right people in his path for the next phase of his career in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.❤️‍🔥

Good morning yall! I know what you mean when you get motivated to tackle something you continuously put off. For me that's tidying my room. I've always had that struggle since I was a little kid. During the wip n chat I was able to make some pretty good headway. I am an android person and do not have a salute emote. I have a Galaxy s10 so kinda an older phone but not horribly ancient. 💯

Regarding the Autistic puzzle symbol - I think it's more about how people with Autism should not need to be shaped in a way that they will fit into certain boxes that are predetermined by society, where people who are different, and not shaped exactly to certain standards, cannot fit into and are left out or thrown aside like mismatched puzzle pieces.

Hi Elisabeth! In past years we’ve just said that any artwork from before the current copyright year qualifies. So for this year’s event, that would mean any artwork from before the year 1928 ☺️ So, I’d say your ancestor’s work would qualify! How neat!

My dad is OBSESSED with the huge Lego sets that cost Major hundreds of dollars per set, I think the one my son an I gave him for his birthday was R2-D2 or something and I know the has the Titanic. Darling take little man to Union Station in Los Angles! It is beautiful. Have Adam take him as a boys day out. And for Adam, my cousin is in the movie software entertainment industry and has won Emmy’s, his name is Isaac Reuben his software was used in the movies Up and The Simpsons. I don’t know if that is up his avenue, but I would be happy to put out a good word for you if you can find his contacts. I know right now he is in the Seattle area good luck Adam
