Alysa, thank you so much for the update. I'm so sorry the Botox made you ill this time around. It can certainly do that and it is unpredictable when it will do that and when it won't.😢 You always have my prayers. My whole family knows about how you have suffered and we all care deeply. As for whether I watch or just listen -- I would have said listen until I need to see what you are talking about but it just so happened that tonight I found myself watching you place those beautiful square drills and was just mesmerized. I can't get much diamond painting in right now and seeing your beautiful work was so refreshing to the part of me that needs this craft. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.💖💎💖

Thank you!! I did do Diamond Art Studio UK Christmas cross stitch conversion last year which was my first go at it. It does take more concentration. I would probably need to really love the image to put in the extra effort.

The cover minders are so cute! I’m amazed at the project you’re undertaking. I’m happy to hear you’re over the issue you had with Botox recently. I’m aware of the ups & downs you have with your health & send prayers & hugs. If I’m crossing a boundary by asking what you’ve been diagnosed with, please forgive & ignore my question. I’m retired & spend most of my time in my recliner due to lower back pain. I’ve had 2 nerve blocks to determine if the next step of ablation would help. The nerve blocks weren’t successful in relieving the pain for more than 1 day. For now, I’m not sure what the next step will be, but thankfully, I have dping to keep me occupied & happy while in my recliner.

Thank you! I have many conditions now but it all started with an injury to my arm and the nerves in it. I deal with alot of nerve damage - so pain and weakness, loss of function. Ive also developed a condition where the automatic nervous system doesnt work - so I have trouble with breathing, heart rate, digestion, blood pressure - everything that is automatic in the body! This is quite disabling in it self. I have tried both blocks and ablations. the blocks provided very temporary relief. the ablation provided longer relief put the pain comes back. its worth shot to try it. the nerves to regenerate which is why the pain comes back after a while

You are much more ambitious than I am, taking on that project! It’s going to look great! I’m looking forward to your sprint minders. They’re so cute! We just had a massive winter storm, from no snow to looking fully like winter again. I can use all the spring colours in my life, lol! Glad to hear you’re feeling better 💗

Thanks for the update. I have to hand it to you with your work in the 2 paintings. That takes skill for sure! I am glad you are doing better! For me, I keep going and am not sure how on some days . I honestly wonder. I always say, what can you do, but to keep going! Thanks for sharing and I have that same Yellow Dog tray in white and pretty much use it the most. Take care! ❤

I am just in amazement on how you are so wonderful changing and adding to your paintings. I think I would keep the pattern and use the colors like the puppy. But I’m definitely not as adventurous 😂 your black cat coverminder and the purple background butterfly are adorable 😊 I’m glad you are over the Botox shot complications are over. I’m so sorry you deal with these things. Some don’t understand things we can’t see. My prayers are with you, I am also needing some prayers. I’m having to travel to care for my parents and their needs to share with my brother. My mother has dementia and my dad is starting to have some moments. The only problems are my dad has been abusive to me, most of my life. I truly go to care for my mother. He does things when he thinks no one is around. I’m 54 and have put up some boundaries to lessen things with him, but some have things so much worse. Just keep my 2 week trip in your prayers. I am able to work from anywhere, but I am going to be extremely home sick for my husband and adult children. You are a great lift to so many days. Thank you. Sorry if I ramble

Thank you!! I am sorry to hear you are going through a tough situation too. Both of my grandmas dealt with dementia, one alzihmers. That will be tough with your dad. Sometimes the dementia changes them to the opposite as they were so hopefully you find he is much kinder now. Hopefully the 2 weeks go by quickly and are uneventful.

Thank you for the WIP and chat, Alysa! Had to comment right away, use release paper! And section off the puppy painting. Hide what you have done and leave open sections you're working on. Hope that helps keep your place! DAC showed a short video on the upgraded cover, it had black lines on the perforations. I am doing well! And super happy to hear your feeling good, at least 2 days ago. Praying that your still going well and hope it continues! I typically diamond paint while listening to WIP and chats and look up every once in awhile. Have a great rest of your week!

Thanks! I usually use release papers but for this one I am just using the plastic and cutting it where I need to and securing with a little minder. so far so good! Interesting I must have missed that video when it it come out??

I totally agree with the night guard. I suffered from headaches at least every second day or so and finally my mom convinced me to get a night guard and now when I wear it regularly I don’t get headaches anymore, almost none existent! But I will say I find it is awkward to sleep in, and when I wake up my teeth and and mouth feel gross. Sometimes I will stop wearing it for a week or so and when they headaches come back I will start wearing it again and I find it takes about 3 days for the headaches to stop when starting to wear it again for it to do it’s magic lol

Wow, that’s a lot of work, can’t wait to see it finished. You can use a dry erase marker to mark off what you have done. Or a permanent market if you don’t intend to used the cut up canvas.

Wow, you're very ambitious tackling a project like that. For the sky I would just swap out some of the colours to make it brighter instead of trying to create a whole new swirl

I love the Trabricks! And as far as I know is that that isn’t the upgraded cover. There was a post that DAC put up or it was a comment that shows a faint black line on the perforated part. So I think that’s what they have in store. I love my Easter cover minder! We will continued to pray for you 😊

Sorry that I haven't been commenting in a long time. But my mental health has been down the tubes for about two or three months. You are extremely brave for doing that project because I would never be able to tackle that at all. I can't wait to see it when it's finished and you have a memorial for your two pets. ❤😊❤

You know I was thinking after watching your last video on the "epic" project - that perhaps cutting the canvas to "mirror" would be an option but the thought of cutting a canvas stopped me in my tracks. 😅 Your project is coming along great. I am doing very well at the moment, thank you. I normally diamond paint while I watch WIP & Chats but today I sorted out mine and my daughter’s pencil cases. My daughter has disabilities and goes out with her support groups twice a week and when they do arts and crafts, she takes her colouring book and markers to do. Her old case wasn’t working for her so I got us new ones. I’m glad the sleep study went great and I’m sending positive vibes across the pond that everyone’s schedules align sooner rather than later. x Edited to add: Your memorial piece is looking amazing already and I’m glad you are enjoying it. x

Hi sending you loving healing light. Happy your having a good day. I’m struggling with my lymphedema also I broke a toe. That is causing many problems. We start therapy next month hope that helps. At the moment I have a nurse coming once a week to wrap my legs. And and monitor me.

So far I've only gotten to where you and I will forget what you said by the end (senior brain) I would just add brigher colours to the existing sky but I'm not brave or as creative as you are. What you've done so far is amazing!!

Not doing well at the moment. Found that my hours are cut to 10 hours a week for the summer. It will be tough to get through with all the costs skyrocketing but I'll get thru it. I have Botox injections to for my CP on my right side. Didn't know about the side effects... I will have to keep them in mind. I only have use of my left hand/arm for everything and you can imagine it's getting pretty tired and sore most days. If you want to chat more, I would love to do it over FB messenger. I like to just listen and once and a while glance up during WIP Chats. I'm generally working on my project during them. It's great to hear that you are feeling better now and I really hope you get your surgery sooner rather than later.

Awesome!! But why not just use the current pattern in the background of the cat but just change out the colors from the dog canvas drills?

I felt it was easier to just do the whole background of maltipoo night that way the grasses and blending of the sky all look good. if I did just the cat background inserting the mountain and sunset sky it wouldn't have looked cohesive
