I have jumped out of my skin with this game many times. Just imagine a quake 4 or sequel with today's technology. Amazing story telling and editing as always btw
My wish still stands: a follow-up to Quake 4, but with the graphics and lore addition of Quake Champions. I think I wouldn't need to play another game for the rest of my life ^^
there's unused dialogue in the Quake 4 files with Anderson confirming the Rhino Squad drop ship pilot was found about 100 yards from the crash site and she died instantly (given the majority of ships speak with female dialogue you can guess the men are mainly serving in the unenviable role of ground personnel and the pilot role is often assigned to women in the SMC). Morris dialogue says thousands of Marines missed their assigned landing zones, thereafter almost all their signals were jammed by Strogg, which probably interfered with linking up or being aware of enemy positions and movements. If you look up you can also see, the skies are contested, nobody has air superiority. There are equal numbers of SMC fighters and Strogg flyers in the air
