Thanks for the update Laura! I’m from Arizona and we are definitely feeling the heat. It’s hard to imagine it being cold anywhere this time of year, I’m a little jealous 🥵 I can’t wait to see your progress on your custom!

My favorite quote, but I don't know who said it, is: "Don't wait until you've reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal." It sounds like you are doing very good in your journey, and you should be proud of each step you take! I was OK with the short kitting up, because it let me catch up on some more of my Watch Later videos, so you do you. Keep us on our toes. LOL! 😉

Thanks for the wip&chat - if someone is annoyed you didn’t finish the kitting up, … well, they can start their own channel and do things their way! I appreciate all the content you share! Ps. 8 pounds is quite an accomplishment! Maybe check out WW. They help you learn how to eat anything you want and stay in “budget”. If your employer has a fitness reimbursement, maybe they cover 1/2 the fee? I look forward to seeing Luna completed in a couple weeks. And I’m super curious of what we’ll see Friday. I’ll be 57 in August. I fell off the self care bus ten years ago. It is so much harder now to reverse the damage! I wish I had taken better care of myself. You are making smart choices by not losing yourself as a priority. I enjoy your content very much! I have zero criticism to offer. I like to diamond paint while I listen. I’m working on The Swing from JGS for Summer with the Masters. I single place and it will take me forever, but I’m enjoying all the confetti. Have a fantastic week. The heat wave is coming. I’m in Michigan and we have our first 85 degree day, with 90s expected next week. 🥵

Thanks Laura. Nice to have a catch up video. I really liked your last video, nice to get an update on your 24 kits list and a bit of kitting up. It's your channel, do what you want! As for plants for the garden, you could wait a little until the shops are starting to get rid of the last of the plants and the prices are usually reduced. Yesterday I picked up 3 baskets to round out what we put up and all were on sale. I picked up a hydrangea, but I don't know where I am going to put it at my house! I like diplodeneas (sp?), geraniums and inpatients for annuals (pops of colour). Hope you can find a plant or two in your travels. Have a fun vacation and congratulations on your self care and losing 8 pounds! That's great! Cheers from up north...😉

Hitting pause. Flowers - I’m in NC and went to a small nursery in an adjacent town. I got a flat of begonias for $22 and it had 48 plants in it. They were tiny! But they have completely filled out my 8 deck railing planters. For other “color” I also winter sow other annuals from seed in milk jugs. Look it up. Hugh money saver!
