My credit score took a massive drop a couple months ago and it says it’s because I spent an extra hundred dollars on my credit card one month. But I’m talking, it went down almost 170 points. What happens if you use AI software to dispute negative items on your credit report, can you still contact the CFPB file an inaccuracy complaint if they’re not coming off of using AI software disputing?
Yeah you can still contact the CFPB to submit a complaint if the negative item isn't not being properly investigated from the credit bureaus. AI only simple makes the letters but once sent the dispute process is the same just like you wrote out the letter yourself so that wouldn't be a major factor.

So what do you do when they using Stall tactics on CFPB like "The company has responded that it is still working on your issue" and will respond in 60 days?
Usually they’ll say that but they’re still working on your dispute until they get you the decision. If it doesn’t work submit another round of dispute and try to put laws in your CFPB complaints

Guys... if you sign up for a credit account, the creditor has a right to report. They dont need your permission. You dont have a right to privacy. I spoke to a real lawyer.. i would not recommend doing what this guy is saying in this video
Lol that’s not true do some research on these laws from the Fair Credit Reporting Act passed by CONGRESS: 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions.
@Aelhassan24 as soon as you activate the credit card and use it, benefit from it.. you're agreeing to allow them to report to your credit. You are greatly misinterpreting the laws and statues you're quoting here..

Super sorry to hear that! Try to submit another complaint and also submit a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & your states attorney general office. Sometimes CFPB will send you an email saying they’ve closed your case but don’t worry they’re still working on it. Also really recommend you call the credit bureaus for further investigation details.

Unfortunately I’m not familiar with how South Africa’s credit systems works, we’re able to dispute these items in America with this method because of the laws & rights Americans have as a consumer. However, if I was you I’d research all of the laws in South Africa and see how you can remove inaccurate/unverifiable credit items. Super sorry that I couldn’t help out more! I would first try to ask the auto company the loan is with for late payment forgiveness and also sending them a good-will letter. However, disputing negative items on an open account is a little harder and often times you'll need to remove the whole account as late payments will significantly weigh down your score!
Im sorry but you do not have accurate law numbers. You are mixing USC with FCRA. There is no section 602 or 604 in USC. You are quoting 1681a(4) and 1681a(2). Show me section 15 USC 1681§602 or §604 please?!

Thanks bro I appreciate you tuning in!! With collections first I would recommend is to send the collection agency a validation of debt to make sure they are legally entitled to pursue the collection. Before you send out the validation of debt I would suppress all secondary bureaus (Lexis Nexis, Corelogic, LCI, etc) and then send it. That way the collection agency won't be able to validate the debt and it has to be removed. Watch my "Why your disputes aren't working video" if you need help with the secondary bureaus!

Will this work for auto loans that were charged off but yet you try to negotiate with the loan underwriter and you eventually ended up paying off the charge of like how would I get this removed off of my credit?

So I’ve opt out of all the secondary bureaus well I’m actually doing that now I don’t expect things to be removed in 14 days if they do great I will try my second round of disputes how long before I try after opting out of the secondary bureaus and will these be permanent removes with having paper trails

Also I’d highly recommend you dispute negative accounts with the secondary bureaus first then dispute with the credit bureaus. Bc the secondary agencies are the ones who are verifying and putting these accounts on your credit report in the first place.

Simply disputing it like any other account. If the repo is 7 years or older it might already have passed the statue of limitations depending on the state you live. Almost any negative item has a statue of limitations which automatically removes the negative item if it's been on your report for a certain amount of years. I would check with your state's laws on the statue of limitations on negative items. Let me know if you need any help, here for you!

Should I try this again? I suppressed all the additional credit like sage, lexis nexus, etc…. It came back verified for one of account. Two accounts had late pymt.

I would block the Secondary Bueaus again such as Lexis Nexis, Sage Stream, Innovis, and Corelogics. If CFPB is verifying it then these secondary bureuas are the one's most likely verifiing this information. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! The CFPB doesn’t enforce any rules or regulations. They are simply a mediator. They send responses back and forth between you and the credit bureaus. In the end… they side with the credit bureaus and close your case.

CFPB is a gov entity that does enforce rule so that consumers arent taken advantage over, lol did you even go on their site or even read what they stand for? "Consumer Financial Protection Bureau"
