This is the perfect example of a prodigy. His timing is impeccable and overall ability is off-the-scale, major kudos to his teacher too. No matter how much natural talent you have, an excellent teacher is paramount to fulfilling potential.
This KID is Brilliant, 1st the Instructor who moulded this kid into what he is now ..Congrats to the Parents, Teacher, his co artist who guided this talented Kid. I wish I have a son or Grandson that could follow the drum talent of this Cute and Handsome Boy. I have been seeing ultra talented kids again and again on YT lately. I'm inclined to think that the Lord may be raising up another (1960s-'70s level) generation of Great Musical Talent...........maybe even greater ??

I was there at the concert and after the show I said hi to him and told him I'm also a drummer and we talked, and I took a picture with him. BEST DAY EVER!

I am just absolutely lost for words. This video was posted 11 years ago, almost that. A lot can happen in 11 years, I hope this kid is doing well because that was simply incredible. Nothing else need to be said, well done. based on the description of this video, I think this might be the channel of the same person who was playing the drums as well. Seriously incredible job.
Always loved this piece. First heard it at my high school. When a special band called the Lincolnnairs performed it, the crowd went wild with excitement. It's difficult to play. I closed my eyes and listen to him play those skins and it was like wow that boy can play right up there as any professional drummer.soon he'll start filling out his own check.
OK I'll admit it........ I'm impressed.... Not by the fact that just anyone can play Wipe Out, but by the fact one can play Wipe Out at that age and NOT miss a single hit, AND all strikes are exactly on point...... I'll go and hang my drumsticks up now...... I just got beaten by a 6 yr old kid, and I am 40 yrs older......

Lol i started playing the drums because i love pissing people off now i just started the bagpipes!! All my motocross bikes from brand new i made them as loud as possible lol!! He’s 16 a junior in high school, very accomplished basketball player and in marching band, played snare for a few years and is now on tenors. He was chosen to perform with the WVU honors jazz band and the PMEA jazz band.
