This used to be on ABC/Disney. A couple of years after ABC/D cancelled Wipeout it was replaced with Holey Moley. Holey Moley is a miniature golf show produced by Steph Curry, the basketball player. He is an avid golf fan and plays in celebrity golf tournaments. Rob Riggle is hilarious as one of the hosts.
Most extreme elimination challenge was the funniest show on TV... used to get stoned and watch it for hours. Yall should check that out. It was a dubbed Japanese show. American Wipeout is filmed in America I think
Wipeout first aired in 2008, and ran until 2014, per IMDB. During that time, seven seasons aired. It was later rebooted in 2020 (with episodes airing in 2021), complete with 20 new episodes. For the reboot, the network brought in John Cena and Nicole Byer to be the co-hosts.
The Titans are going to be #1 this year with Malik Willis at the helm. That or the Steelers with Kenny Pickett. The Seahawks had their glory with real good players like Matt Hasselbeck, Russell Wilson, and Marshawn Lynch, but they suck now. 7-10 proves that. Just accept it. Let's go Music City!
@Kurt Katze are you really this insecure about your shitty ass "titans"💀😂 you're on a video about British guys reacting to Wipeout tf does football gotta do with it... just seeing a Seahawks fan here made you lose it emotionally and feel the need to rant about why you think the titans are "so good" lol. Take the insecurities over your mediocre (at best) sports franchise and go somewhere you're wanted😂
"PC Brigade." Come on Mike. There are so many TV shows in the US and while these clips may be funny to watch, enough people simply didn't watch the show. Nobody watches Ninja Warrior either. It's on very strange channels late at night when nothing else is on to show.
This was a show that came on during the slow summer tv programming and it was hilarious. Regular people not super athletes running these courses. Pure gold.
I have a cousin that was a contestant on the American version and she said it was filmed in the San Fernando Valley, about 75 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles
So about 6 years ago there was a company that had licensed the Wipeout name and traveled around the country. It was sort of like a smaller version of the Spartan race but it was call the Wipeout Race. I did it when it came to my city. So much fun. It was like a 3 mile run but it had these Wipeout like obstacles you had to get through. Like the Big Balls and the swinging arms.
Please react to Trevor Noah-Oscar Pistorius stand up... He tells an interesting story about a South African paralympic athlete, very famous, he got arrested for shooting n murdering his girlfriend. He shot Her thinking it's house invaders, that's what he says in his defence

I believe the show Takeshi’s Castle was the first show to do this stuff. It seemed like it had already been on for a while when I moved to Japan in 2005
Wipeout is still around, I think it's on TBS. John Cena is the host/co-host now. Gronk's girlfriend is the one who interviews the contestants on there also.
The original American version ran from 2008 - 2014. ABC (the station who aired the showed) canceled it. In 2021, a reboot of the show started airing on TBS. Several other counties also have versions of the show.

It was cancelled because of bad ratings. You should check out Holey Moley with Stephen Curry. They are about to release a new season next month I think. It sort of replaced this show...
They stopped because producers got greedy and changed the format. They moved away from regular people competing on the regular course, having regular wipeouts and giving us funny moments. Then they changed the fairness of the course and made it impossible for anyone to finish without multiple wipeouts. No one could complete an obstacle. This took all the fun out of watching someone try and fail or be victorious because producers always had their hands on a button to a hidden wall to derail a good competitors.
I could not say what channel it is on, but Wipeout is still airing on US Cable TV. One station in particular one night a week it is back to back episodes all night long.
honestly, I dont wanna know how many got injured during these games. you can literally see that the water is barely going to your waist at max and with the parts not even being water and dirt muddy water instead, you wont go out with a smile on your face. its easy to brake your back in it.
