"It does sound very industrial, I'm afraid" Timm, you are the man! Thanks for all this knowledge you share with us on the web. I've used a lot of your tips and tricks on my e38. I wish there was a Timm for every car brand... Best of luck to you.
Perfect timing, I’m struggling with some wiper issues on my 840 and I’m sure this will help to get things running as they should. Never thought to physically bend it to help! Love your channel and dedication. You have helped so many people over the years
Another great bit of advice Timm shared and appreciated. Most people when washing cars always forget the blades, my tip is to use WD40 on the blades themselves and a few wipes with a micro fibre towel. Also for a deep windscreen clean use ultra fine wire wool and a tiny amount of vodka, believe me you will be amazed at the results !!
Thanks Timm! I thought I had issues with the wiper blades themselves or the plastic guides on my new to me E39 540i but turns out this is the issue! Cheers from Canada!
Many thanks. My dealership a few weeks back said "we dont know whats causing the juddering blades on your 430, but we can fit some new blades at only £62". I might go back to them and put a complaint in quoting the official BMW service manual technique. Thanks again. 🫡
Tim very useful. All Cabbies please note! When you had your e32 did you remove the cowl and clean out the area below the wiper motor that collects any tree debris. The recent sahara sand dump in the UK in March has decided to lodge there and has probably blocked up the drains. Obviously the wiper cowl allows rain to get through easily enough. But if you park outside in weather and get caught, it can collect debris quite quickly. Lee
