Thank you so much , you saved me over $200 getting it done at a shop. Great instructions I was able to follow it and now my wipers are fully functional!

$200 in labor or parts? Brand new I’ve seen these parts for about $40-60 depends.

Just paid $150 For the motor. I gotta do it myself to save every penny i can lol

Hey man, thanks for posting! Turns out all I needed was the bushing. Once I saw the link fell off the transmission, the guy at Advance said I didn't need a new motor OR a transmission linkage . He sold me the bushings for $10.95 and that was it!

Great video basic l found the 2008 to 2012 Chevy Malibu as a car you do not want to buy they have made so many stupid things on that car that fail it's total junk just my opinion but I had one to change a light bulb u got to tear the front clip off the car to get at it stay away from this car as most plastic junk cars are made today. I appreciated your video however.

Totally agree. Had to do the same thing to change a headlight. Having to drop the bumper to change a headlight is asinine.

Good video, but I'm sure you didn't mean "Hand Tight" for the wiper nuts since you used a ratchet.

Is there one motor per wiper? My driver's side wiper doesn't work but the passenger side works fine

Okay, so I replaced the motor ardently l assembly, I cannot get the wipers to position properly. They either hit the guards in the side of the windshield or they get intertwined with each other. The only way to fix this issue is so place them so far up the windshield it looks horrible 🤦. Please, what am I doing wrong????

I just did this and it worked fine. You didn't swap the blade arms by mistake right? As long as the motor cover fits back over the holes right, the blade arm position should be good and you should be ok.

@@x60hz Ya, after watching several videos, it finally dawned on me that the arms might be swapped. Went and actually looked at them closely today, indeed they are swapped 🤦. So currently it's a snow storm and negative degree weather, I will change then around on a warmer day! Thanks for responding!
