It's not manufactured by Wipro it's by a company called Tuya a Chinese company nobody spends so much to make a product they just rebrand it, check out Acasa, homemate, wipro and Ambrane all same products with smart life app by tuya also just for your knowledge

@@mail2sengupta if you knew anything about how "rebranding" works you would know that more than 50% of the cost of device is Wipro's own profit. 😂 Pretty much every electronic accessory you buy there is more than 100% markup. If an earphone made by boat is sold for 1500 then that earphone cost to boat is less than ₹500 to boat. Rest is boat profit. Majority(2/3rd) of the profit goes to brand which sells the product to end user. PS: This ratio is not representative of Phones profit margin in Indian market. But for almost everything else it rings true.

@@rapiddu6482 what are you even talking about? Totally off topic. It is ODM manufacturing strategy where they buy the pre-designed and manufactured product and sell it under their own brand. So yea rebranding. Yea, Wipro is making money no doubt and good for them and us for being Indian but they are not making nor even designing the product. Infact by your analogy, Tuyu, the chinese company is making 1/3rd, 1/3rd, so on of profits of all those companies Wipro, Acasa, Homemate, Ambrane for the sales of the one single thing they designed and made. Who do you think is profiting more?

There is another company that came out with this product first. Wipro is just using its size to wipe smaller players off. Nothing good about that.

@@fizzybubblech2128 i have been seeing this product from Wipro for like more than 1½ years. I don't think they are recent. Regardless go with Smitch Smart solutions they are so much better as they use their custom design not just rebranded Chinese stuff. Their power strip is the best one. And their products are made in India hence costs less than Chinese rebranded stuff. Smitch is the only one I have found that has really good reliability and quality. PS: players like Amazon, TP-Link, Philips are not small players by any means. If wipro gives more reliability. I know it is rebranded stuff but you can still control the quality manufacturing price increases if wipro is able to provide better reliability for same price it is good. That's how competition works simple. User experience should be the factor when judging products.

Hi. I am planning to buy this plug to use it with my wifi router to remotely turn it on or off from second floor as my router is placed in ground floor. Is it possible to do the same?

Did you got the answer or still waiting??

They say it's not needed but trust me if you get frequent spikes it would blow out the PCB of the AC eventually.

@No One you're lucky. One bad rain day is enough to ruin things and can happen to anyone. Generally, it's not needed but voltage fluctuation is a thing. Better safe than sorry I guess

Is it possible to control ac via Google assistant on my phone to turn ac on before returning from office? Like before returning back I would just simply say turn ac on my Google assistant it starts at home, Is it possible?

@@ashutoshbajpai3 yes, but you need another device like an oakter remote and the google home app. Google will send the command to the remote and it will switch on off, change temperature.

Coz if you don't know almost every AC stablizer consumes almost around 15-20 watts of power even in standby mode and I simply didn't want to waste that much power as this AC is run just 3-4 hrs/day whenever I just go in that room.

I have Samsung QLED and even a LG OLED TV that we use.... We don't use any DTH or cable connection cut those about 3 years ago. Use only online streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, RU-vid, Hotstar, Apple TV etc for watching content online.

Correct as they are manufactured by Tuya app and device, same model as homemate, ambrane, Acasa etc... all china made India does not do any manufacturing like all this... Fir itna sasta nahi milta

Yes bro obviously. You can control each switch separately. You need to tap on the switch you want to on/off instead of bottom bar turn on/off button.

Most ACs these days are protected for immediate turn ons don't think it will affect appliances of today's day n age.
