all looked pretty good, gopro looked like an nd filter would have smoothed out the sun flares, insta was awesome , and both cameras looked good, i must say favs were gh5 and insta!
360 camera on a cable seems like a drone killer setup!!! Thank you for a great video, I'm currently building my own 3D printed cable cam to use with a GoPro Max and A6300. I'll be using the cable cam to capture MTB footage and plan to add features like you talked about at the videos end as well as a remote tracking feature so I can setup and use as one person as I rip through the woods!
Hi Tyler, thank you for the kind words! Pairing the Wiral Lite and Insta360 is a crazy combo. Wait till you get into the Insta360 app for editing the footage. It's equally as impressive!

Good review on the product! It would certainly come in handy for those videos that make it seemless between having someone else walking the camera, a selfiestick, or a quadcopter zooming around you with the controls in your hands. Like you mentioned, a good B roll for a dynamic, panning shot...
Very interesting your video. Have you used any special settings for the Gh5? I tested my Wiral lite with my gh5 and the videos were unusable. I had too much vibration. Any advice?
Hey bud, first off, thank you. Regarding settings, nope, nothing special.. are you using the digital zoom or tele conversion settings? I would make sure those are set to 'off'. What lens did you use? I shot at 12mm so very wide, i suspect if you were using a longer zoom, things could get interesting.
PhotographyTalk thanks for your answer. I used the same lens that you used in the video, but I was in a lateral position to make a travelling and the wiral was tilted.
I tested it myself and liked it best with the Osmo Action. The Insta 360 X One is a cool camera but it just doesn't offer high quality video as I hopped, so I returned it.
@@photographytalk, doing great here thank you for asking! The Osmo Action is excellent! I feel it is more stable than the GoPro and captures better in well light locations. However, thus far I feel the GoPro 7 does better in low light locations. The Osmo Action doesn't run as long as the GoPro 7 either, around 15 minutes shorter on time. But, this is why I have both. I love the screen on the front of the Osmo Action and how well it performs during the day over the GoPro 7. But I use them both for our films.
Hi, do you think we can use an alternative cable to the original one ? , i' d like to put 2 cables in my music studio and i have no trees inside and don't want to remove it everytime ! Thanks
Hello everyone, i've installed my wiral on a 3mm nylon cable and no surprise, it works well. I've tried a 2.5 mm before it was shaking. Of course do it at your own risk as they say at Wiral co.
Now this is an amazing tool for several uses! what a great b roll device i am thinking too and not crazy expensive for what you could get out of it! i would def want to have a few backup batteries! Brother i love this one! Thanks for introducing me to it!
