making so many of these as christmas gifts for ALL the women/teens in my family. Out of 10 nieces and nephews, I have 7 nieces!!! Plus their mommas of course. I get so excited when you post a new video. keep the ideas coming!!!
These are elegant! I just went berserk and bought 4 packs of beautiful Picasso seed beads in assorted colors on Etsy so I can make several of these to give as gifts. Thank you, Sam! I'll be done with my Christmas gifts early thanks to your many beautiful tutorials!
I’m glad you’re doing metric! I’m from the US, but I hate using inches…dumbest thing ever. Metric definitely wins for jewelry. Thanks so much for another great tutorial!
No one can make me smile or laugh faster than you Samantha, and I so appreciate it!!!. These bar earrings are so cute and flirty. Especially great if you are blessed with a beautiful long neck, which I am not. In my case these earrings would be two beads long 😂❤
I can’t wait to try to make these ❤ I’m constantly second guessing myself and literally turn into a scared goat following over on its side when frightened 😂. I really enjoyed this tutorial and the speed of your teaching method 😊. Your laugh is very contagious! Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you from Phoenix, Arizona, for this very clear tutorial. I'm thinking about making a shorter version with a loop at each end to use with connecting elements to make a necklace or bracelet. I appreciate the inspiration.
Thanks to you I am learning to use metrics. I still have a lot to learn on that. I love the earrings. They are so pretty. I hope you and your family are doing well, little Glory too. He's such a cutie.
You asked "how gorgeous are these?" and I think they are very gorgeous. I think I may even be able to manage the design with my arthritic hands. Your bead mix looks so much like tourmaline, that I'm going to make my earrings of this design using some tourmaline beads which I've had seemingly forever. I just need to find those beads of mine. Thanks for the tutorial. I agree, the design is quite elegant and I think a design that will remain classic.
I have arthritic hands too so I am always aware of how difficult it can be to make some designs. I feel sure you should be ok with these ☺️ Tourmaline beads will be beautiful 😍
I absolutely love your designs, but I most enjoy listening to your voice. My best friend is from Gloucester, and she sounds exactly like you. Same pleasant voice and great laugh. Makes me smile. Please keep the videos coming. Amazingly talented. TY ❤
So cute. I make something similar but this seems a little easier, so thank you! Also, I do a slight hammering on the frame before I add beads. So glad I found your channel you always make me smile while being educational!
Thank you so much for the demonstration, these are stunning I cannot wait to try them. I've been saving some beautiful 3mm faceted Labradorite for something special like this, in also have tiny pearls...
Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. I love your positively and infectious laugh. You explain how to make everything so well! I love watching and listening to you!❤
These are so elegant, I can't wait to try making them. Thank you for the excellent, clear instructions. Only thing missing was a picture of the dog 😁 Lots of love from a fellow hag in London xxx
Samantha, I'm certainly a "fellow-Face-Melter" at age 75 - and am looking forward to making these little beauties for myself, my daughters and my friends! I've truly enjoyed your gracious and informative video. We also focus on sharing weather information from here in Deep East Texas where 'face melting' can strike anyone here in the Summer! :o) Cheers and Good Wishes for your positive attitude.
@samanthalatimer1 it's an honest thing to say 😊 I'm excited to try making these for my daughter who has been wanting new earrings. Thanks for sharing!!
They are beautiful 😍 and you will look beautiful when you sashay into the office with your cream bar earrings on🤩 You crack me up and I can’t help but laugh when you do. 😂😂😂 Thank you for sharing 🥰👏🏻🌟
Tsm for this tutorial, it's tempting me to get into wire wrapping. Just bought some wire. Also, I love your laugh! It's a great laugh, definitely contagious!
Ooh what about a pendant to go with the earrings?! 😊 I absolutely adore you and your content. You have reignited my love for jewelry making. I've dug it all out and am having a blast! Thank you for all you share. ☺️
We just had Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debby two days ago. Lots & lots of rain, but I'm in a place that's less likely to flood than many others. The day BEFORE the storm, a huge limb broke from one of the many oaks on my property. It apparently punched a hole in my roof. I had a leak which fortunately dripped into the toilet. So i've got to get that fixed, but everything else is fine.
Just saw your channel on my recommendations and I’m glad I clicked and watched this video. You have such simple elegant designs not to mention you’re a good teacher. Funny too😃. I already have visions of adapting this design into a bar necklace or bracelet . Thank you so much!
I love these!! I'm wondering if you could turn a longer one into a ring. I might just have to give it a go and see if it works. Thx for another tutorial, in wire working that I can do. 😂😂 ~ Heather Aston (aka Mama🐻 Aston)
These are lovely! In Orkney right now but will try these when I get home. In Scotland, we talk about being in fine fettle. I wonder if the origin is the same? You’re not a hag btw - us women are so quick to say these things! Our lives are just drawn on our outer shell. 😃
Oh I love that. I’m happy being a hag, a crone, a wise woman… there’s so much we have to give and to offer in our later years. I love the outer shell reference ❤️ That’s beautiful
You are a beautiful person!! thank you for another Great \video gonna try these today!! P.s. LOVE watching and listening to you while you working you make me laugh!🤩
@@samanthalatimer1I am making them now! Would you mind saying more about your trick to estimate the width of the bottom of the frame? It looks like you are holding the bead so that the hole faces up and down (along the length of the pliers). But it seems like I could hold the bead at the tip of the pliers or further down. So I’m not sure where on the pliers I should be marking or why. Thank you for explaining!
@@wen-wenwang6920 you’re absolutely spot on… I was just trying to demonstrate that you should start the bending of the wire just slightly wider than the width of the bead… I’m sorry I didn’t make that more clear 🤭
@@samanthalatimer1Thank you! I think I’ve got it. Positioning the bead far enough down the pliers that the edge of the bead doesn’t stick out. Just below that is where I marked the pliers, and that’s where I bent the bottom of the wire frame. Thank you again for sharing this technique. These earrings are so beautiful and easy to make! Love your tutorials. ❤
Hi Samantha, I remembered to hit the subscribe button today! Have enjoyed several of your videos already - looking forward to many many more. You mentioned that you might put a link to the Etsy shop from which you purchased the beads for this lovely set of bar earrings. Understanding you said she may be out of them, but perhaps she has others similar. Can you still provide that link?
Hello 👋 and thank you sooo much for subbing! Of course, I did forget to find the link didn’t I lol 😂 Here it is: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/BeadsandmorebyYashma
