Love this mount. It is really sturdy. I am a beginner (3 months) and it took me 3 attempt’s for success. But it was worth it to perfect this technique. I like to use CZs and this method will be very useful.
New to your channel love this thank you I'm just starting out well about 2 years ago then put all of my materials away in the closet , now I've got that drive back after seeing you thank you !! 💜
Love it! Great detail and instructions! That Pin Vise is an awesome tool for wire twisting. Thanks again for another great video, can't wait to see the next one!
Could you help ma make a setting for 2 stones and a charm? I am a total beginner but ant to wrap some stones that my mother gave me. It might make a nice tutorial for you? Thanks! Sandy
I'm so excited I've never seen alot of this before and I live tqht you include things that no one else has done and how you fix mistakes also for us. My question is can you show us how would you buff the prongs so there not Sharp? I know you said you would cut at an angel which is a tip I never heard but Makes so much sense and how would I just buff this with out hurting the stone can you show lil tricks like this? You show more details than anyone and it does help thank you..
Thanks so much! Good to know! ☺️ So far I’ve just used my polishing kit to buff the prongs. I try to stay away from the stone if possible. I’ll try to see if I can make a video on that in the future.
Can I use the handle from an Exacto knife blade?? It looks the same as a pen vise.. Also nice instructional vid! Your stone is nice and the setting is beautiful.. Can it be used for prong setting a cab?
2nd time watching and I'm blown away for a 2nd time!!!😲🙆❤. Thanks so much. P.S. I have the box of copper washers as do you and I think you read minds because I needed ideas on what to use them for beside what I've done. Thanks your awesome, love your fur baby what's his or her name.
Thank you for the tutorial. Sometimes you move your hands and piece out of view. I suggest marking your " in focus or on camera " area on your workstation so that you can keep your workpiece on the screen all of the time.
Wire wrapping expensive faceted stones is not a good idea, especially trying to set them with wires the way it looks in a solid metal ring. It has a HIGH chance of getting caught on something and pulled right out and onto the ground without you even realizing it in time, let alone the possible damage it could endure hitting the ground and rolling across.
