I don't speak a good english but I understand everything you do!!!! It's so simple when I look your fingers and Drill, I can do so much more now. I'm handicapped 80% and you change my life!! I need to create now. Continue to make me dream with gorgeous things , best regards, Marion Les Contes de la Tisseuse
Thanks for showing us how to do the coils. No learning experience is too little, please never apologize for anything you do to help us learn! Love the new pendant and would love to learn how to make it. Thanks for all you do!!!
OMG!!! Those pendants are BEAUTIFUL!!! And thanks for the information on how to twist more than one piece of wire. That is awesome and that is some thing I want to try myself.
Thank you for showing us! 😊👍🏼 A little over one year ago when I started doing jewelry I said to my self that i would never go into weaving or wraping.... did'nt listen to myself 😉 When I started weaving and wraping I said to myself that coiling is not for me, I will never start to coil, thats to hard on my hands an to time consuming.... I'm not listening this time either, today I'm going to find my electric screw driver 😎😅👍🏼❤ And yes! We would like to see more of you and your work 👍🏼👍🏼😀😀
Thank you so much. Glad to hear that you are not closing yourself off to trying new things. There is always so much more we can learn to either expand our knowledge and skill sets, or even just hone the skills we already have. ❤
New sub here! Don't apologize for explaining what you are doing, even backtracking on mistakes or because you need to and definitely not for the length of this current vid. It is fine as is. Many want to learn from and...yes, with you. You, unlike so many others, take the time to explain clearly and without speed running the commentary which is what many want and need if they care to learn Keep up the good work and continue to share knowledge and creativity!
Sadly, I see (on your channel page) that you haven't made any more tutorial vids for a while. At least there are a few more there! I hope all is well with you!!! And yes! I would like to see and learn how you did the 3 pendants you showed at the end of this vid. Staying sub'd just in case you decide to make more vids. 😉
Would love to see more .love how you take the time to show even the smallest of details. Most people leave them out and its what makes the difference 💯
Thank you! This was perfect for me. I am new to wire wrapping, and I was trying to tell my husband what I wanted to use a drill and/or tool to create. This made it very clear! I appreciate you speaking to tension, how to set up the wires, drill, speed, pressure, and what to do with the ends to become attachable.
So sorry no pendents but I do other metal working and a lot of these skills do go and can work hand in hand every metal is different but they pretty much behave the same to work hardening some more resistant then others but no pending pendents maybe someday soon thanks for your great ideas
Awesome!!! Those pendants at the end are cool, too. My next project is making your pendant and this type of coil. Thank you so much from this 63 year old Mimi newbie. Life is good on this new adventure. Thanking you for sharing your art!
I did the pendant in my other video with this for the main coil and it looked great. I also switched out the single coil running along side it for a 14g halfround wire though. So glad you enjoyed the video.
What a treat that I stumbled upon your channel! I would love to see how you make the 3rd one. Well, really ALL of them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!! ⭐
OMG thank you so much!!!! I'm just making support rods for a few storage bins and wire I was trying to find a purpose for instead of discarding it and this worked out great!!!!
Just bumped into your videos , I hope you make many more. Love your tutorials that you have so far. I am a beginner, actually haven’t really started yet as I’m gathering supplies. You explain your tutorials so well so want to drop you a huge thank you and sends hugs.
Your tutorial just popped up and I really enjoyed it, thank you. Those pendants are stunning , I'm gonna check to see if you already made a tutorial on them right now! Thanks
Thank you so much from my heart. Just made my first ever by hand coiling, then a drill twisting the two together. Then wrapping the last two by hand. It’s beautiful. I know I have lots of room for improvement but am happy with this. So thankful for all my blessings. I appreciate your sharing and answering questions on the group. Take care.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You are a very good teacher and I would love to see more videos. It's beautiful and I would like to try and use it on my own jewelry pieces. Again, Thanks for sharing.
I love the look. Gaging it up a bit would make a killer torq, but I tried my hand at wire jewelry the year before last making my Ren Fair mask (so I had one that matched my garb) and I kinda want to make another run at that. I might even try some captured stones like your pendants if I really feel my pepper doing it! Thanks for this. Now I have to watch some more recent vids.
Thank you so much for taking the time to be so detailed. You've helped me more than you know!!! HUGE HUGS to You!!!🤗🤗 BTW... Your work is So Very Beautiful!
Just came across your tutorial. I've been working with wire wrapping since I retired last year. Really enjoying it and have gotten pretty good...lots more to learn. Thanks for the tips on the twisted coil. Would love to see the process of making the pendants! I've made some, but nothing as elaborate and would be up for the challenge!
I love your videos and wish you would make more, it’s nice to use the tools we have other than our fingers which takes so much abuse wire wrapping. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much. Yes I would like to make more, and keep telling myself I will. It's just been very hard to find the time to record, edit, and upload anything for me. But I'm very glad you have enjoyed what I have posted so far. You are totally right about saving our hands and fingers from any unnecessary wire abuse. I will try anything once if it makes my life easier.
Your tutorial is absolutely wonderful!!, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, things that I (we) see but have no idea how to do. Your instructions are concise and easy to follow. Your wrapped cabs are so beautiful, my hands are old and painful, I need to see if you have a place to purchase your pieces. 🙏🏼💗💐
I have found that if you use a old style manual hand drill or crank powered drill you can get the same quality as a power drill, but you can control the speed and you're able to have more control over your wire with the fact it will only go the speed that your hand can crank the handle. You can still buy them online and find them in hardware stores and at yard sales or places that sell old used tools.
That's a goog idea. My dewalt drills trigger does have speed control. Not sure about other brands though. Just gotta ease on the trigger pull. Also convenient quick switch to reverse for if I accidentally overlap.
