I've watched and watched and can't see how you secure the head unit to the mounting brackets? We see them bolted in situe but not how you fix the brackets and screw the head unit to the brackets to fix in place
Hi pal just fittingf one of thesxes in my T5.1 and its looking a mess, there a gap behind the stereo is like 2 inches lol just cannot get it back as close as you have yours??? thanks
been having alot of customers back recently that have had these and the halo units smashed and grabbed also these units do not have very good audio chips in them like the more expensive units...stay safe
Hey Ben, I just ordered this and I’m moving to a big city with a lot of car break-ins. Any tips for how to deter theft of the stereo? Should I cover it when I leave my car with a cloth or something?
@@haleybluemn3090 oh this is not going to stay in the vehcile long then sadly as the thieves know its a high value item, a cloth would only attract someone to wonder what your covering, if your listening to radio or music then i see absolutely no point in such a large screen to be honest

I have one of these in my Audi. Never regretted the upgrade. Customising the launcher to a true car one will make a huge difference. I’m using AGAMA car launcher. Links to other apps for ease of use of them from the Home Screen. And looks great
I bought the ATOTO A6G29PF radio after watching your review, for my T5 2012, and it won't fit in like you showed on the video. Do you know what cage adapter I need for it, are you able to help Thanks
I completely removed the original cage and only used the parts that come with the atoto. If it doesn’t fit then you still have something in the hole that needs removing
Hi no I didn’t have to fix them the radio keeps them in place but I did end up putting in a screw just below one to stop the radio moving down and covering the buttons below.
bummer, every one of these Atoto 'installs' shows none of the physical mechanical install...the only part that is a mystery. There are hundreds of videos going over the features..don't need another. Thanks anyways.
Thought I did to be honest, can’t remember. It’s literally 2 side plates that fit to the car and this slides into them. I’ve got another video on my channel with the atoto s8. I think I go through it on that one.
cool, I will go give it a watch. It appears like you have to be able to get at some small philips screws..so that seemed weird, but I guess it should be tight enough, or even some foam or felt could be added to cover up and visible cage. @@SpyderLEE
I just purchased this system it's a great unit I have only one problem the illumination on the control panel does not illuminate. I can go into settings and illumination turn it off and back on and it will then light up but i have to do that everytime i turn the sysyem on...any suggestions?
Hi spyder I’ve started fitting the atoto a6 pf and I’ve come across some issues how to secure the brackets behind the panel and the connectors fitting to my iso lead that were supplied have you got any information for me 🙏
After fitting the HU it has backlights but keeps turning off then on without cycling through to start-up. Have swapped the yellow and red wires in the iso connector and android initialised to main screen but when switched off won't switch on again. Assume wiring must be out somewhere?
Do you have function from your steering wheel with this unit? I’m looking at one for my 2014 but don’t want to lose my steering wheel controls or my parking sensor visual
Installed and mostly working. But it has permanent power. I can switch it on and off. But it does not switch on/off automatically when I switch ignition on/off like urs. What am I missing. All the loom wires match on the t5 I have. It’s driving me nuts😂
@@SpyderLEE so the red and yellow wires should not match the loom wires? So van red to yellow loom wire & van yellow to red loom wire? Also do you Can Bus fitted?
Great to see a new video from you, Lee. I use "Hey Siri" quite a lot and I'm in the market for a new head unit. Does this model still allow that hands-free control? Have you gotten a chance to try that yet, or are you still in Android mode?
Hi nice video and looks like a nice piece of kit, but I'm curious, how did you get the better angle as that's the main issue iv had with touch screens in the t5. Was it a built in ability of the screen or did you need to jerry rig it to allow for the better angle?
Just got an A6 pf. Installed with an ISO adapter harness. No sound to the speakers. Tried a diff radio using Same harness and it worked. Tried to hard wire the A6 no change. Have I a bad unit ? No reply from atoto as of yet.
Did you fix it? I am researching it, think the Amp power one cable needs to have a live feed from the 12v source that powers the unit, even though the car I am using does not have a amplifier built in to the stock system.
