The iTrip came out in 2004 as an accessory for the iPod. In this video, I take a look at the history, tear down the device, and look at it's output on my SDR! I found some interesting stuff...

I used to love my iTrip... So funny that to change the frequency, you'd play a file in a special playlist with an audio clip with tones. Wild... :)

uhhh, it's an FM transmitter, going from the ipod...you're essentially just creating a digital piracy station, as you said in the rasbperry pi radio video...

Yeah, this one is completely legal though
