Does anyone know if this has got automatic frequency scan? The instrument pack has got it, but I can't find any info about this regarding the IEM systems.
I have this system. I am a bass player and plan to use it in my 5 piece band. So far I haven’t used it in a band setting yet but playing bass on its own is pretty good at low volumes. As said in the video I got myself some better Sennhiser pro 100 ear buds. However if you push the volume more than halfway on the body pack it’s completely unusable. It hisses like mad playing bass and is just not pleasant, Tbh you probably don’t need to push it over half way anyway because it does go really loud which might defeat the purpose of having IEM. Will be interesting to see what this is like when I play with the band in a couple of weeks.
EDIT: it’s been brilliant in a band setting. No hiss, no noise and no drop out outs so far when you have the full band coming through. Would definitely recommend.
@@MistaTrick can’t say I have experience that, is your gain set correct on the LD units and the mixer? If you have set it up correct then you may have a problem with the unit.
Excellent review Ben! On the transmitter can it receive 2 separate sound signals like for example the mix from FOH and direct from the our of a wireless microphone 🎤???
Thanks man. You sound very sincere. Just a quick one: I plan to use this for my solo performances but would like the option to add more packs in future with band stuff. How do they isolate their own sounds with their pack? Apologies if that sounds dumb but I’ve never used IEM systems before haha
@@luka_rk you could send mix 1 in the left channel and the mix 2 in the right channel, and in the bodypacks in mono select 100% left and 0% right and viceversa
