@@alexweinstein6417 Not knowing what phone you have, you need to get the phone to where you can plug in a ext mic. Be sure in app you are using is set to use the ext mic.

@@alexweinstein6417 If you are plugging a TRS microphone into the iPhone's lightning socket, plug the microphone's jack into a TRS to TRRS adapter, then plug that adapter into a Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter. This can then be plugged into the iPhone's lightning connector. You will need to get an adapter to make the 1/4 plug from the twin mic be used on the phone.

The Vol. will be on the device you plug the Mic's into. If it does not have one. Put a small mixer between the mic and the Amp.

Does it have a white noise? I bought the same mic and I can hear a hissing sound or white noise on the speakers once I turn on the mic wireless receiver.

If you turn them both on and one does not connect than it is bad. Need to be replaced.

It will not work on all phones. I have a good much gave up on getting it to work that way. the output of the receiver is weak and not making the phone pick up the audio. With many mics, I have tested this one amzn.to/35sAp8Y is the best of them all for wireless handheld for a smartphone.

@@GEFMFost remember to check the adapters that you're using The mic may work you just need the right adapter if you're having a problem check the headphones that work with your phone check the pin and try to find an adapter that matches that.

@@Me-qw1yp my headphones work. It's a 3.5mm headphone jack. And the reciever for the mics is also a 3.5mm. it just isn't picking up the microphone adapter in my camera app. I use lapel mics all the time with no issue, this thing just don't doesn't work

Need to check and see if it takes a trrs or TRS to make the microphone work in your smartphone

If the other mic works fine, I would say it will be most likely the red mic. Now it can be the receiver. The only way to test that is to have a scanner that will pick up the Freq of the red mic and see if it is sending out a signal.

The best thing to do on rechargeable systems is to use them & run them down. Then charge them 100%. Try to see if they work as they are. Look in the manual and see what Bluelight is telling you. Most do not come to with a full factory charge
