With traditional harmonicas folks will want to know what harp, what key, which mic and amp. Enter the Lekholm MIDI and the aforementioned takes a back seat to the settings. How about letting us in on what your settings are? Love your channel by the way, thanks.
In the hands of the 'Master' it sounds awesome. I am still sharpening my single notes playing on the Diatonic harmonica. How much does this midi cost and where is it available?
Sounds wonderful - that would be such a cool addition to a gig, kind of like the aerophone. Are all the sounds built in? I assume you could add sound libraries? I was wondering, can you also do vibrato using natural vocal movements?
Thank you so much for all your videos on this! I‘m now getting ready to order an „X“, for hands-free use as a solo performer playing guitar and singing (plus stompboxing from time to time). So the „X“ now offers wireless Bluetooth connectivity to the iPad, right? And then one only needs to run a cable out of the iPad to one‘s mixing desk, right? This would be the perfect live setup if it works that way, so hoping you can enlighten me on that. Also, which app(s) have you so far found best for A) realistic blues harp (diatonic) sounds, and B) all other sounds? Oh, and is there some way one can pitch-bend down using a footswitch, hands-free? Sorry for all the questions…
Brendan can you elaborate more on the bluetooth function and how can i just bluetooth to my sound mixer.. question is why must i go through an Ipad when all the software n brains are built into the DM48X??
You need some kind of synth to create the sound. The DM48X is simply a controller, it has no onboard sounds. The iPad is a great option to play it through for many reasons, but there are plenty of other options. Any of them that are Bluetooth enabled can be played wirelessly.
How do you connect this via bluetooth to your ipad? Is there a separate bluetooth button like on a pair of earphones or is it only via midi of some kind. Have read the manual from Lekholm but understood very little about the bluetooth connection.?
@@BrendanPowerMusic I figured it out against Garageband, but thanks for your reply. What type of program do you use against the DM48X. Preferably with harmonica sounds?
Yes... but it plays in all keys and all tunings, has an 8 octave range, is always in tune, has no reeds to break, plays any sound you an imagine, and much more... Plus it is fun too!
@@BrendanPowerMusic Oh then this is not a harmonica . This is an AI LOL . We will have plenty of this in future. Better than this in future we do not need to play harmonica any more we will have a robot that will play all for us :)
