Its wireless 2.4ghz car rear camera video transmitter and receiver. I got it from aliexpress, sorry I dont have link,if you want to check it out search with these words:Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver the devices work on 12v dc.
For most reversing cameras you get the power from the reversing light and the head unit should detect once you go into reverse. i assume that won't happen with the wireless unit. and the camera will be on all the time?
It works with monitor but not with stereo as car stereo need signal wire from reverse gear connecting to power of receiver and to head unit reverse cable, so happy searching with reverse wire under dash
I need help with my wireless camera.I hook mine up the same way. The led lights on the camera is on when i put my truck in reverse and the red led on the receiver is on and the blue led on the transmitter is on but still not displaying on my radio head unit screen.
Hi Hacktuber, do the wireless sender and receiver determine which video codec is being used? In other words: if I connect two different cameras (once at a time of course) to the sender which use different video codecs, will I get at the receiver end two different video codecs? Thank you in advance for your reply.
@@Hacktuber Today I could access the factory settings section of my android 12 head unit (firmware: 8227l_demo) and change the Backcar Source settings switching from AHD to CVBS. This helped the head unit to properly decode the signal. The image is now coming across perfectly. I suppose this Wireless Video Transmitter would let an AHD camera signal across as well. The wireless connection is established fast and currently doesnt look like suffering any interference from other devices.
