Wiring a 2 speed pool motor 

Thanks my friend - appreciate the excellent video! Does the speed of the pump adjust itself UP and Down automatically as needed? Is a two speed pump essentially the same as a Variable Speed Pump? Let me know if you can, thanks!

So on 230V, Green to Ground, Hot 1 to Hi (L1), Hot 2 to Common (L2), and Neutral to Lo. Correct? Thank you in advance

I’m confused. I have: low speed, high speed and common. Where do the 3 go?

Buenas noches usted me podria decir si el cable de La velocida suave ese cable tambien tiene corriente o debe ser un cable neutral si corriente ,ya lo instale y si trabaja en la suave y en la rapida pero noto aue se caliente un poco cuando lleva unas 3 horas trabajando

Viendo su explicacion usted cree que me pueda ayudar e comprado este motor de 2 velocidades como el que tenia anteriormente pero los cables van de otra forma y este tiene 4 puerto de conexion como el que usted enseña

I need to replace a 1 speed 4hp spa pump at 3450 rpms. There are only 2 speed pumps available with the same specs, with high speed being 3450 rpms. My current/broken pump ... On the pump is wired A - is empty L1 - White wire conneced L2 - Black wire connected B - is empty Not sure what the 2 speed ones look like, but can they wired with Black connected to 'high', White to common, and 'low' empty? Thanks! John
