I would think 50 000 odd isn't a bad crowd for a Prem Game? It might be 'heritage' but what would you do with a derelict dock? I doubt the ships are coming back...

@@mikeoglen6848 For a club like EFC it is far too small. Spurs have only won the title _twice,_ yet build a world leading 62,000 seater filling it. EFC have fallen behind the Premier's leading clubs for sure. That relative decline will continue. It has not been arrested.

@@mikeoglen6848 The dock was *FULLY* operational. Three quays fully used, with a one temporary berthing quay. Propaganda stated it was derelict which was was a complete lie. The rest of Central Docks was to be devleoped for _heritage_ projects. Peel never submitted any, just tatty anytown proposals. Peel filled all the docks to six foot depth, precluding deep water vessels. UNESCO stated that Liverpool has no historical ships. Because only canal boats can navigate the waters. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Everton got more than 40 000 very often even in 70s and 80s (even when pushing for titles) I think 50 000 genuine fans every game will create a good atmosphere. Would we want (could we get a stadium) holding 75 000, a good half of whom would be more interested in eating prawn sandwiches than shouting for the team?

@@johnburns4017 OK. You say they were used, for what exactly? No-one could get near the 'heritage' you speaking about , except for employees? Were they used for the big ships? I thought all that trade now goes through the big Container Ports?
