Tonight's ride started off with a Dirt track over Moel Famau, with John having to face down a herd of cows blocking our path, followed by a blast down a twisty A road from Ruthin to the Crown pub. We have had a few rides here in the past, only to find the pub closed. This was the first time I had actually been inside the place and was pleasantly surprised. The landlord brags that the 'Jewel in the crown' ale is only available from his pub.
