Wisconsin Fall Fishing (GIANT smallmouth - Multi Species) Boulder Junction

We got to spend a few days up north in Wisconsin in the Boulder Junction area, where we were targeting musky, smallmouth and pike! G has NEVER caught a musky, and he was determined to catch his first one of the fly (yes, he's crazy, but we like him). We also took a break and stumbled upon an INCREDIBLE trophy smallmouth bass bite!
This part of the country is truly remarkable, for its scenery, fishing, lake and cabin life, and charm! I hope you guys enjoy this series of videos from this area and see why I love the Northwoods so much! Big thank you to Travel Wisconsin for having us up in Boulder Junction!

I grew up in northern Wisconsin lived there until I was 15 I absolutely miss it and dying to get back up there thinking about buying a cabin up that way where are you talk about Because the smallmouth are absolutely incredible love your vids keep it Motivates me to get out there more and put my head down and fish hard you kill it

Reminds me of the Hayward Lakes area. We have a summer house up there and the fishing (musky, walleye and small jaw) never disappoints! I call it "God's Country" as my grandpa did.

I would love love to fish the north. I have traveled 40 states but with a trucking outfit so I never got to fish any of americas great waters except my home lakes being Kentucky and Barkley.

I know what you mean. For 15 years I drove past KY Lake on my way from WI to GA to see family, but this summer I took time to fish KY Lake for Crappie for a day. Definitely go to the dugout- I love my set up and having it rigged RIGHT is key. There isnt anyone who does it better! Tell them I sent you and to take good care of you!

Boulder lake’s surrounding land is owned by the dairymens 😂 super snobby people, tried to fish this lake but was told to get away and never return to Boulder junction.. 😢
