In from New Orleans, and I just got back from my very first trip to Oshkosh ( I was there on business). I thought it was a really neat, beautiful little town. I loved all the old houses, friendly people

It’s a shame that all of the White Pines were pillaged. No way to replant them as it takes 150 years to regrow. The best lumber was that Long Pine. Today, old homes are disassembled to save this excellent lumber, and, worth the trouble to do so.
