Stadiums are built like libraries. Essentially all concrete with reinforced rebar and mesh. I’m not a engineer by any means. However.... I have been on a few stadium builds over my career as a sheet metal worker. They over design the you know what out these. Just in case you have 25,000+ jumping around. Perfectly safe and that’s a great video. From a Illinois fan. Go Big Ten!!!
I was at a Buffalo Bandits lacrosse game once in the upper deck when they started playing Cotton Eyed Joe. I found myself praying that the engineer did his homework once the stands started bouncing!
you can tell the coaching staff told them to knock that shit off lol most of them were jumping. Id would tell my players to stop if that was my team lol
You right ✅ so much fun joy and you think . I worked in demolition 6 years not long enough to give a engineering comment but I know all structures have there limits. But your right ✅ clever men .
There is a video of germans doing this and a Tribune under them just breaks in half and crushes down. But they all jump in unison especially frankfurt fans
DecimusIunius Bud, the people filming say ASU, twice. I'm an SC fan, I know those crafty fuckin Sun Devils when I see em. Oh, AND IT SAYS SUN DEVILS ON THE SCOREBOARD.
This is a bucket list event for me. I wish I could be in Camp Randall one time in my life. Just like I’d love to be in the end zone seats at Lambeau Field in the freezing cold and catch a player doing the Lambeau leap.
Anyone else having a marathon of these videos after the athletics department announced the return of fans to Camp Randall this fall? As a current freshman at UW I’ve been waiting extra long for my first “Jump Around” in the student section and I couldn’t be more excited 😆
Actually it’s a weird loophole where if you play licensed music through a PA system over crowd noise, it’s not illegal. It’s why you can’t hear the music audio directly when watching football
Twin Towers when the stadium starts playing music for you to jump up to, it's fabricated hahaha look at soccer games.. it all comes down to the supporters. True authentic passion, none of this crap ahaha
Twin Towers lmao no one cares? It's the most popular sport on the planet and the fastest growing sport in the US. Have you wondered why "American sports" are called just that? Because we're the only country that gives a shut about these sports lmao fuck outta here.. don't get so triggered lmao go watch real football and you'll see real "fans" not this crap. Bunch of college kids with a marching band and you call that passion hahahahahahaha
Trump Tower and this is why everyone outside of the USA calls Americans morons. Obviously no one cares about egg ball outside of the usa it’s an irrelevant sport that is dying in its own country how say and the fans don’t even care about the game it’s just fat Americans drinking beers through the whole game
I’m from england and dont watch nfl but i never thought i’d see the oppositions players jumping to another side’s chant with so much intent and passion
I'm a 61yr old brit, I like football (soccer) and cricket, but the one sporting occasion I would love to attend more than any is a wisconsin home game just to experience the 'jump around' celebration. It look absolutely amazing.
Iowa Hawkeyes have a great one too where at a specific time in every home game, all of the fans and players turn and wave at the children viewing the game from the University of Iowa Childrens Hospital windows which overlook the stadium! Its breathtaking!
I'm a Michigan State fan but I live in the U.P. so I'm kinda in between msu/u of m and Wisconsin and I have to admit Wisconsin is a really talented school when it comes to athletics and i'll cheer for them on on almost any given day, great job badgers keep the tradition going!!!
Kind of made me emotional a little! That is awesome! An amazing example of music uniting people! I know maybe thats a little silly but look at it!!!!! AWESOME!
I have never ever been to another collegiate game at any other college that has the student section rocking like Wisconsin. I went more as a kid, and it was awesome.. thought it would be different as an adult, nope. Although I have to say tailgating outside camp Randall is the best as well. On Wisconsin!
Was here once as an away team fan, the crowd around us let us participate in the Jump Around just as if we were wearing red. Nicest group of people ever.
West Virginia fan here, I always wanted to go to a Wisconsin game and rap Jump Around with the fans. Hands down one of the most electric traditions in sports
I am spanish y he descubierto ahora como anima la aficion el Wisconsin, its amazingggg, te recomiendo que veas como empieza a animar el equipo de futbol del liverpool, you ll never walk alone es tambien muyyyy emocionante. ahora yo tambien sere seguidora del wisconsin, bravooo
Not a Badger fan by any means, but this is one of the coolest traditions in all college sports. The fact that regardless of score or situation they turn the entire student section into mayhem for the whole song is awesome.
It's funny that I saw this comment. Because I was thinking the exact opposite. I wish we all could get together this strong about things that DO matter. Who really gives a crap about a football game ? What does the outcome change ? Nothing. If we could get together and have this kind of enthusiasm about real life , imagine what we could do ?
@@rawdog42 I bet you're the type to sit your fat ass at home in the basement and critisizes everything that is fun because you're just a low life loser who never does anything
As a European football fan...soccer as you guys call it..This is awesome! This actually gave me chills. Too bad we don't see more if it. It's usually the same scene . Drunk fat guys that scream ..WOOOOOOOOO...so respect to these fans.👍
They should have House of Pain come perform the song live there sometime... ANNOUNCER: "Ladies and gentlemen...we ask that you direct your attention to the south end zone and welcome House of Pain as they perform their hit 'Jump Around'!"
I know you left this comment a year ago and I'm not sure if you were serious, but each letter in the race represents one of the student sections (K thru P). Just before the students "Jump Around" there's a race on the screen and the student all cheer for their section to win. Yeah, it's silly, but they've been doing it for literally decades.
Nothing like being in a stadium when this is happening, makes me smile every time I view it I just can’t get enough of the Rangers fans when they are singing ‘Penny Arcade ‘ what a noise
I love the crowds enthusiasm I see a ton of fun and everybody having a good time and I also see a ton of people who don't know what a beat is 🤣. But if you know how to have a good time you're my people!
