At 15, Felipe joined his Guatemalan immigrant father at his new home in the western Wisconsin town of Arcadia. Arriving in the dead of winter, speaking no English, Felipe faced a rough adjustment. By throwing himself into school activities, especially the wrestling team, he found a supportive team and the help he needed to thrive. His success continues as an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter.
