Decided to make the drive after watching one of your previous videos. This is now one of my favorite trail systems in the midwest. Keep up the good work Brian!
I rode Levis a few months ago (and, like a moron, forgot my chesty for my GoPro). It was a lot of fun, but kind of a disappointing day - SUPER hot that day (mid-90s) and I got tired really fast. I'll have to get there again soon.
Yep this is a must for me once I have some time. Looks really really fun. Wonder how much longer it will be rideable this year. Well done video and thanks for the tour!
I've never considered it. I can't hop that high. That ledge is steeper than it looks. It does look more ramped on video but I never really considered it.
Looks sweet. Your videos have gotten me intrigued to the sport. As an potentially entry level rider, is there a certain bike you would recommend that won’t break the bank?
There are a lot of great bikes out there. It all depends on your budget and how much of an investment you want to make. Often you can find a used bike for half the cost of a new one if you search online.
Not a professional, but I bought a Giant Talon 29 3 hardtail MTB for $560 and I've ridden it on harder trails in Wisconsin and it seems to do fine so far, I'm posting a video soon on the harder trails but I have a few videos on my channel riding around Wisconsin and it seems to do fine on bumpy trails.
They actually are really useful when you have walkers or slower riders in front of you. Plus that hub cost me like $500 so it's staying till it breaks.
