WISE Adamascus AD9M Watch Review 

Wise is killing it, time after time, no matter what the genre is... Massive respect for this brand. And this (do it all...) classic elegant watch. Even the engraved rotor shows how they grow and get better and better. Would definitely make a one watch collection, easily. Change straps and you have plenty of beautyful watches. Approved! Hiya Pete! That meteorite dial is really mesmerising, it's unique and yet they managed to make is look fairly even. Other than that it's just a no nonsense watch, for me it could do with brushed upper lugs. But overall it's another good offering from a watch company I'm really impressed by. Cheers!

I like how it is a little bit more dressy than a diver and meteorite dial look awesome! As someone that has to work with different steel types because of my mechanical engineering related profession, I really appreciate the difference in steel types. I think other brands need to do that as well. It is a detail that is often overlooked Great review as always Peter, thank you👍🏼

The iron/nickel matrix in that meteorite dial is probably much older than the earth itself. That’s a lovely piece, especially for the price.

Another nice watch that caught my eye....

I love my meteorite dials. I prefer a chunkier build, so, not one I'd get here, but definitely a sharp looking watch, with decent specs. Always cool to be wearing a dial that's billions of years old. Amazing how it used to be so rare, and now many brands have access, at great price points.

Underrated watch underrated company I thought this dial is amazing the finish looks great too for the price the polish looks very nice.

I’m impressed! My attention didn’t turn on WISE just yet but now, they have my attention. I’m a micro brand type of guy b/c I feel they offer a better bang-for-your-buck than other brands that are well established and this one doesn’t disappoint. This one ticks all the boxes for me i.e. the specs are exactly on the sweet spot to be worn on my wrist and seems to have great legibility. Unlike you, I prefer this watch on the provided straps b/c I don’t typically wear bracelets. This way, it feels more like a day-to-day watch that I’d wear anytime. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice proposal, a shame it is not slightly smaller, like 39/38mm as it is more my sweet spot for dress style watches.

that is a beautiful watch. I am veering away from dive watches and going more towards the smooth bezel types that this watch represents. I am generally a bracelet over strap guy however the strap on this one seems to fit the style very nice. I love the dial, the texture draws my eyes and I know that pictures and videos never capture the true beauty so it must be better in person. I appreciate your attention to detail Peter, you have a great eye for the presentation of the watch.

At a glance it has a bit of a GS Winter look to it. Impressive, but slightly smaller would have been a plus.

Really nice 👍 think a dateless version would be nice. Perhaps blacked frame on the applied indices and hands, or gun metal like RZE to help legibility. Love a mete dial

Totally agree with the date window and I love the high polish and the reflections and light play. Simple but nice looking piece. Another great review Peter.

I quite like the date function on the watch, but I agree that it could be made more readable with a slightly larger window. I find watches without a date annoying after 30+ years of checking my wrist for the date and time.

This would be a lovely piece for me. I generally don’t mind date windows at all but I think it really breaks up the dial here. Once they make a version with no date (even if there is a ghost date position on the crown) and a 904L stainless fitted lugs tapering bracelet, I will buy it wicked fast

With the second strap beeing genuine aligator leather, are there any issues with sending it to certain countries like Germany for example? Just stumbled on your channel and i am very pleased to say the least! Your intro as well as your presentation style and macro shots, are amazing!

Great review, Peter. This company is producing some excellent watches at pretty decent prices. I have a 'Hitman' and the finishing is outstanding. You have got your wish re a smaller dial variant of this meteorite dial. They are offering a 39mm version in their soon to be released '4th batch'. IMHO the one to go for is the gold edged hands and indices, they stand out a little better than the ordinary silver only variants. Doesn't look like a bracelet is being offered with these, which is disappointing. The dials on the other 'Adamascus' line looks fantastic, however, I really don't like the weird looking hour hand.

Looks incredible, unfortunately the price is just abit over the budget for me. I'm waiting for a similar one from Selten watch (Kickstarter project) pricing around $400 with bracelet.

Beautiful watch, but two things I would change. They put the model name under the brand name on each of their watches as far as I can see, I would remove that. Also I would really like to see their beautiful logo in steel applied to the dial above their brand name. Other that that, lovely watch and great packaging!

I wondered if you was going to get a review on this one :) , i missed the MK1 version with the normal dial, so i thought id give this one ago as i have enough divers. Although i did get one of the Rubber straps you recommended from them in a previous video Id tend to agree a 39mm with no date would be my preference too. I thought the bracelet would be with it like it predecessor although was a butterfly clasp so not sure id be keen if they did that

Nice specs, classy watch but the date window could be better, looks unfinished like they got fed up and took a short cut. Maybe a touch bigger with a frame to match indices would have been the way to go.

Good looking piece! 904L steel and a genuine meteorite dial under 1k. wow. My one gripe is the branding, looks like an afterthought. An applied logo would be nice. Also no date and on a bracelet (wouldn't mind paying a little more for that)
