Watched this video after the Hitman caught my eye in your FKM strap video. Really like the look of the watch and it's one within my budget. Now off to browse their website :)

Another quality review I just love the no date versions on watches the greater symmetry is very pleasing although I don't think that a window at the six would have effected greatly or maybe it's just that I'm a bit of a fan of Wise In any case Thanks for the awesome review my friend 👍

Looks great and they are getting their hands on movements that are pretty hard to source right now at the moment, they could be charging more for these!

Very nice changes to an already great watch! I don't like date windows either, so the NH38 is welcome. The Miyota 9 series with no date complication would have been even better. Now it's surely time for a new model. Wise watches are very impressive value. Great review, Peter.

I like the flat side case and the dial looks great too. While I am generally a bracelet guy, those straps do look nice but of the two, I still like your Green/black better.

Nice return to reality after the last video. It was a fun trip though! The gradient dial is a marked improvement over the original. In a way, seems to make sense that being called a Hitman that it should be offered in south-paw form. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I don't like a left hand crown. I'm lefthanded and many say I should wear my watch on my right hand but visually it looks best on the left wrist. Since my watch is on my dominant well coordinated left wrist I don't clumsily bang it around or scratch it.

G'day mate! I'm very impressed when I see reviews of their watches. They are good looking and well manufactured pieces. They're even customizable to certain extent and the makers are rightly proud of their products and all of this comes at a very affordable price. There isn't much more you can ask for! 👌

Beautiful watch. If they put the "w" logo they have on the crown on the face instead of the "wise" I would buy one today! Hopefully they take note 😁

Only one point to make; For Seiko Turtle if they rotate the movement the crown will sit at 10 o'clock, which can be a bit awkward to grip I think.

I am fast becoming a fan of no date watches. This watch looks great.

Not a bad looking watch at all but doesn’t stand out which isnt necessarily a bad thing but not for me personally, what I do like though are the rubber straps. Need to check them out.

I also like this watch, but not the name. Wise Hitman. I think the reason is the resemblance of hour indexes, the hands and the pop on the second's hand to bullets

Did you have any issues with the movement not winding with the rotor? I can’t hear my rotor moving at all and it died on writ after a day or so wearing it. Wise just says “When you first time receiving the watch, it has no power reserved. We suggest you to wind the crown for 20-25 times before wearing once wearing 24/7 would not guarantee that it will reserve full power sir.”

If a watch is considered to be a tool then I want the one that can tell me not only the time but other function (s) such as day and date and maybe a GMT. But like you said, to each his own.

You're right Peter - the dial change is a good move. They still sell the original versions, the graduated dials are for the no-date models. But no coloured bezel options for the new ones. That's a bit sad, I think the world needs a Wise Hitman Hulk - I'd read that graphic novel B-)

Unfortunately I have Wise Adamascus AD8 AD830A and I wore in 2m of water at Beach and crown failed (even though screwed all way down). It now has condensation on dial and mechanism has suffered moisture damage. I emailed Wise support to inform them of issue and they requested an image of crown to establish if anything was wrong. I told them it wil require a pressure test, however they recommended this wasn't require as all watches go through stringent cross checks before leaving factory. I'm know spending good money after bad money to rectify watch. Steer clear of Wise Time Piece watches as they all all glitzy with no substances!

Agree with all said , fortunately you at least have the bracelet from the mk 1 which i'd definitely swap out but buying new on rubber with a throwaway "l leather -ish" strap for $300 plus excesses [uk] as much as its a nice looking watch which i do like tbf with that and the name there's no finger on the trigger for this one i'm afraid but some cracking shots of the piece i must say 👍.

I prefer that new no date model myself too. And I like that rubber strap, the paisan strap. That fake leather straps they're making with "vegetable leather" so they call it. Not a fan of it either. I do like the watch very much Peter!

Hi Peter, I really enjoyed your review and the look of this watch so much I bought one. I have to say, it is my first automatic watch and so far, I'm a little disappointed in its time keeping. The watch is gaining approximately 15 minutes per day. I assume this is not what you experienced or did you have to regulate the watch before you actively used it?

I wonder how you are reviewing only good locking and quality watches? Maybe there is some bad watches but 99% i love what you are reviewing.Ass i said good locking,quality for the money and above that unique videos.I belive in everything you say about the watch.Tnx for making this videos

Nice to see the value add with the second strap option - the rubber for those sporty/sweaty days and leather for the more dressy-casual days.

We got another 6+ last week next to the east coast of Crete, plus every day we have dozens of 2s, 3s and sometimes 4, 4.5 up to 4.8 aftershocks. Shake it baby!!!!! We move this land!!!! LOL

Nice looking watch. As a left-handed person who has worn a watch on my right wrist all of my life I don't see the point in swapping the crown to the left side. To me it looks every bit as odd as it would to a right-handed person. I wouldn't buy that version.

Great looking watch but the name is just too embarrassing for words, love the no date, love the grey textured dial, even the straps cool. The thing is if I said to you, "nice watch, is it a Seiko?" and you replied, with a wry smile, "No it's a Wise, a Wise Hitman" I'd fall about laughing and make,no doubt false, assumptions about your character and genital size.....I realise this may not reflect well on me but nevertheless every time I hear the name I can't help thinking "Wanker!" Like the NTTD Omega, it's trying waaay too hard. Good thing too because if it had decent branding I'd have to buy it, it's handsome as hell I must admit.
