Remember the last Wish.com video where the emphasis was on how much lower the quality of the products was? But now they're getting paid and suddenly the products are great with grossly inflated retail values of the competition to make them look valuable. That's normally how sponsors work. You get paid to advertise their stuff. Some companies tells you to be 100% honest, and some only want good PR so you kind of have to make it somewhat positive. It's shitty, but that's how it works.

Nihilistic Nomad It’s less about the customer experience and more about the horrifically exploitive and inhumane conditions in which these products were manufactured. The prices seem to good to be true because THEY ARE. No one is being paid enough to make these things, so they are taking advantage of desperate people in third world countries working in dangerous conditions for less than a dollar an hour. Not a great company to be promoting imo...

What credibility? They are an entertainment company, and the video was entertaining. They're not giving their stamp of approval on Wish, they are merely advertising for money, which you would do too if you were worth offering a sponsorship to... @@globalx-wing7286 Actually, I would not just take the money. What I was pointing out is that this is a stretch from their norm. They have always featured brand names, but usually in a true comparative or interesting sense. This was the first time I have seen one of their videos act as nothing more than an advertisement. Yes, they are an entertainment company, but not a marketing company...I would surmise that most of their viewers watch their videos to be entertained not marketed to, and a vast majority of the comments on this video speak to that truth. You may be ok with shilling for a big corporation, but my opinion is firm on its effect on one's credibility.

The gas mask cost 47 $ on Amazon (not 999$). The face sprayer cost about 57 $ (not 350$). I stopped watching after that. One thing is accepting a sponsorship, but please choose your sponsors with care. Absolutely no research have been involved in this episode.

Sorry guys, but I’m pretty disappointed with this episode. That the sponsor is the video subject makes bias and you should know Wish can make the retail value whatever they want and it is often way inflated.

They could've made a game where they say if a product is wish or not, but then they might actually lie about the quality because of the sponsorship. But here they bought ok products (not some extremely cheap stuff) and didn't even talk about the quality

@@Makiira "Biased to what?" Biased to showcase your sponsor in a good light. Not doing blind test is fine exapmle, that actually makes Wish a favor. Good advice, advertise whatever you want but never dedicate entire episode to your sponsor, because no matter what you're trying to do, this is just a 15 minutes commercial. Not GMM episode.

I wish people were more pragmatic about this. They obviously got a lot of more money for an entire episode than just a regular intro/outro. It's one hate episode in exchange for several good ones. We all know what Wish is, and we even know what R&L think of them based on a previous episode.
