It gives me great pleasure to see younger people playing R.L.'S music. I met R.L. in 1981 at his home in Coldwater, Mississippi after buying his first record in 1976. Anyway I lived with him in 19782, and we toured together in the States, Eugene, and other places from 82 -94 off and on. Did a couple CDs, and have recordings coming out I found on Fat Possum....Anyway we got to play at a few shows in '99.... know him until he passed away...know some of his family still...he was a very special person. Ya know he played everything in Standard tuning E, but Ms. Glory B. in A. Then the rest as you probably know in Open G. My email is in my channel description if you have any questions about R.L. if you're interested. Good luck.
whaaaat RL Burnside cover! smoked that ish! I love it, ima try that out. I just started playing slide not to long ago. Oh my God my neighbors are not liking that shit! But gotta start somewhere
Fun fact. I watched this right when I woke up and with the sun shining through your window it almost looked like I was looking at an angel. Then the music started and I said " if I'm dead please let her play for me everyday!"
Burnside style! good taste! I I think we might have the same type of resonator. I have a Recording King minibucker res. I got it in black because a lot of my other guitars are natural burst finishes I needed a change. I can’t get enough of my Res… my other guitars are mad at me. damn girl! I think you play slidebetter than me!Are you using acrylic glass slide? That’s what I’ve been using and I’m getting better and better. This is the best thing I’ve seen on RU-vid all week! Nice job!!!
