I concur, the video looked a lot cleaner compared to much more expensive the Cop Cam. Mirco SD cards are a dime a dozen nowadays anyway, so spending a few extra bucks on one isn't that big of an issue.
@@CanItAlready You mean decent for 2010? Because these days cameras are so cheap you can get pretty reasonable 720p video quality for just $20-$30 getting either something better from china or go used, heck depending on what you're looking for you can do even better than that in some cases like the Wyze Cam, it's a 1080p security camera for $20-$25 (depending where you buy it).
@@xiaoweitan6754 Ok but your point is? So is the wyze cam, as are similar cameras and so are the sensors in modern phones but the quality difference is pretty massive. Tiny cameras such as the Y3000 to give one example, have been around for about 8 years now at roughly $20 and even that old thing had better video quality...
The “ice genie” could have worked well, if instead of just making one outer chamber, they made the chambers in a spiral, using up all the space inside.
Hey James. Just wanted to let you know, my wife and I have decided to buy the purple mattress and your review has been a huge help in choosing to do this. Thank you for all you risk and do for educational and entertainment purposes.
I buy from Wish with low expectations for a fun, low cost surprise to arrive a month+ later. That said, I think the light off while recording is genius for stealth mode on that camera.
For the night time glasses, they are mostly marketed to those with astigmatism in either one or both eyes. I have weird astigmatism angles. The wish pair reduces glare a lot more than the other ones. Those without any astigmatism probably won't notice a difference.
hahaha so true! I was thinking the exact same thing but couldn't rememberJM's name and im one of those people if i cant remember something and it's on the tip of my tongue it drives me insane!!! So i came looking in the comments in the hope of finding someone who wrote a comment about it! So thanks for that !! ( i realise this is an odd thing to say lol )
With the night glasses I actually noticed more glare with the glasses than without. Especially with headlights. They were yellow so may be less bright but more glare.
Wish can be a hit or miss. It's fun getting a surprise in your mail box after you forgot that you ordered something. Delivery is straight from Shanghai or Hong Kong, so plan on waiting a long time.
This is interesting because AliExpress and eBay from Chinese sellers ship quite fast in comparison which is hilarious because Wish hides their shipping prices behind low prices while I usually opt for free shipping on AliExpress and eBay.
Glenn H , l totally agree with you !! Open the mailbox 8 wks after ordering a bunch of little stocking stuffer type things and say "oh yeah, ld forgotten l ordered......"lol
The wish cam looked a lot better, honestly. I buy often enough from wish for other stuff that throwing a knockoff in isn't a big deal. Although Joom is a little better - at least the shipping charges aren't separate.
also the light out is genius. if it has a light then someone might notice you recording them. i used one of these to record my neighbour putting scratches on my car. guy dragged his garbage bags across my paint.
I really dont understand the eggstractor, or most egg tools. setup for those things easily takes 3x as long as just cracking an egg on the edge of a counter or something
In my opinion if I had to choose between store or wish I'd choose wish, since I've used wish before several times, and if there is anything wrong with a product or if you just don't like the quality, 99% of the time you can ask for a refund and you will receive your money back, and you will set I'll keep that product.
The Wish Cop Cam will NOT alert anyone to the fact you're recording.... This in itself will prove beneficial, (as no-one you're recording, knows that they're being recorded... by the 'give away light'). Bonus feature! 👍
I have a NEOS SMART CAM.... $20 bucks (*as u say over there!?). I'm in Manchester England, and this IS the best deal worldwide (*for my 'buck') Like what I did there? 😄👍
Dude! You're friggin awesome. I'm like obsessed with a lot of this shit, and have even bought some of it. Maybe your reviews will help me save some money. ✌🏼
for the Night view glasses. they were never ment to be like better at driving at night, more or less it was just to lessen the glare amount from other cars lights a little bit so you arent like blinded by the sudden lights from them.
The only use i could imagine would be as blue blockers for people with migraines. Especially with idiots driving around with their brights on in populated area and the new high density Blueish Bulbs, and Trucks who have their headlights at head height, having something that could filter some of that light out from directly blinding you would be great. Unfortunately this guys glasses look like they don't even do that.
Just a thought, the eggstractors could be different models. I’ve seen as seen on tv products that change design/material and instruction design with no warning. They do it to save money or they change the product slightly to update the look. Check out the year or model number for each one maybe?
I think the wish cam looked better than the cop cam, and honestly for such a small cube and cheap price it actually did work, pop on a neodymium magnet or a piece of doublesided tape and you can put that thing pretty much anywhere in a quick situation and it isnt noticeable...also like lack of a blinking red light while recording for that very reason. especially since i just checked and wish has a 50% off day right now and it is regularly $5 so for $2.50 something that is small and can actually record isnt bad at all.
It did have a better picture, but to me the problem was that its "off" state and "record" state looked exactly the same (indicator lights off) so I was never quite sure when it was recording!
@@Freakinreviews No question that light is a deal breaker. shame . cuz , as i said , vid quality was better. thx James. have a great day in Vegas "vegas baby. vegas"!
I have to say the wish glasses for me were better. And that is probably just subjective. Also the wish cam to me seemed to have slightly better night vision but again that is my view which is also subjective. I also use wish on the regular and apart from some dodgy delivery times I have found it to be pretty reliable. Although I know ppl who have been burned quite badly by wish so it's a roll the dice type of thing. But anyway good vid buddy. 👌👍👌
The priper color of glasses would be helpful. These are jist amner or yellow tinted lenses. True selective yellow does redice some of the glare reducing your vision as mich.
These wish vs other comparison videos are some of my favorite videos. I think I might try to make a wish Vs Review on my channel! You have inspired me.
Regarding the eggstractor, someone taught me once to crack both ends on a table, remove a bit of shell from one end then blow into the open end with my hand out to catch the egg. That trick is what the eggstractor is based on.
Sometimes Chinese made trash can be surprisingly decent. But they were probably made with nearly free labour. Meaning it was made by wage slaves. Which would just upset me, personally.
Hello I love your videos I have a question for the ezcracker how much hand strength does it take I'm disabled and have limited hand function but I drop eggs when I crack them often would be a very useful tool thank you so much for making great content
Who remembers the “eagle eyes” sunglasses from the 90’s that were said to help your night vision for driving and cut down on glare? My roommate bought a pair and gave him crap for a long time about it. He claimed that they helped but I never seen him ever use them. If they were that wonderful you’d be wearing them every chance you had! I think they sold for $30-$40 but that was 25 years ago. I used to run around the house squeaking like an eagle because of my new found vision enhancements!! He wasn’t amused one bit!! 🦅🦅🦅😂😂😂
I have had excellent good luck with WISH myself. Now the clothing is not Western sized of course so I never get clothes. But I have bought jewelry, key rings, stuffed toys for gifts, small kitchen stuff and I got a military bag that was just as good quality as a genuine army surplus shop would have had.
As a trucker, I used the "night vision glasses" in foggy conditions. THey work great for that...at night, you want as much light to get to your eyes as possible!
the solid bottom of the ice genie and such means you can then use it as a cup and pour the ice into the center thing and fill that up with loose ice, until it gets stuck together with freezer ice and turns into a giant chunk of funky ice with holes in it.
The Wish cop cam is smart. Having that light off when recording is smart. If you're recording someone, especially at night, without them knowing... last thing you want them to notice is a little red flashing dot lol
I think that the glasses, although identical in quality, help by diffusing the light. At night, our vision is more used to the lack of light, and when you have those bright headlights or other city lights blinding you, i think the yellow tint just makes everything softer. It won't make the night brighter but your eyes will see better because less adjustments are necessary.
As a driving instructor of over 25 years i need to say in regard to the yellow lense glasses. They only thing they help with at night isbof you are a person thst sees the huge stars shootingvout from bright lights like headlights it greatly reduces that effect. But the superior way to use these glasses while driving i found to be up north while driving along highly forested road. When you wear them the foot prints of animals and people alike become massivly more noticable. This can easily save aomeones life. A great deal of accidents are csused as animals come out and cross the rosd unexpectedly. Both peopke and snimsls are creatures of hsbit not to mention the deeper the snow the more energy it takes to make new tracks. So people snd snimsls are most likley to cross in the very same spot every time they cross. So to instantly havevthese tracks visable lets you know exsctly where to watch to avoid when an animsl stays hidden from veiw and then suddenly jumps out to cross so you the driver are better prepared to not over steer and then csuse an accident over steering for examples. The faster your going the less sharply you have to steer to avoid losing traction and going into a skid. You also can slow down for just the biggest tracks of moose and deer choices if cross over areas. This all allows for your eyes to be on the road or instrument oannels instead of constantly looking too much along the sides of the road when you have no clue where to look for animsls crossing. If you drive in these places have the glasses on. The difrence is huge.
The yellow tint on the "driving glasses" is pretty standard in shade. You can get safety glasses. In my opinion they help alot with light flares on headlights. My eyes feel way better when I drive home at night
What about the SD Card on the Wish? Dies it pop out when you set it down like the cop cam does? It would of been cool if that problem would of been fixed with the Wish version?
