10:32 just a rule of thumb for sts with iron clad, silent, and defect, you want to remove strike but with watcher you want to remove defends because a strike card has a chance to hit for 2 where as defends can only ever be 1. Because of wrath stance strike is better.
quick question, how do you modify the game to a certain ascension level? ive been trying to figure it online but havent found anything pertaining to the board game!
patiently waiting on my preorder to ship I think its another couple weeks. so excited to play this with my fiancée who I got addicted to the electronic version.
@@NathanielBasham-e7g oh sick! That sounds super cute and fun ☺️ yeah I think the pre order stuff ships late July (I might have bought a couple of things as well 😅)
Hehello Kangorth! I wanted to ask, have any of your sleeves gotten damaged so far? I only play in 4-player groups and many of my sleeves already got damaged, with several "outer layers" ripped off already, even with careful shuffling.
I'm pretty rough with mine and yeah I've had some peel at the sides. After a lot of play though. I'll try glueing them back down but it's not a huge problem at the moment. It's a real shame though!
I've seen a lot of people talking about that happening, I'm likely going to buy enough black backed dragon shields or some other brand when that time comes
Combust doesn't scale with strength. Its ok but not that powerfull esp. Unupgraded Not upgrading Errupt just seems wrong.....3 Times in a row... Really?
True, but it's free and hits the row. Which is pretty crazy for 1 energy and every subsequent turn. It's like playing cleave every turn (obviously without strength)
@@KangorthAnd thats the Problem. 1 Damage a turn is not that impressive. Unupgraded it takes 2 turns to be a cleave and the missing strength scaling makes it even worse. Its ok, but extremly slow.
Literally at the start of this video but I'm looking forward to it based on the thumbnail, wish is an incredible card! I'm playing a game with my wife as watcher (she is silent) and wish has been a huge card ever since I've drawn it. Managed a turn of 63 damage on bronze automaton to secure the kill on the following turn which felt awesome
Very nice! What would his total health even be 2p. 60 or something l? Lol Well done! Edit, I was thinking of the guardian. Bronze would be about 100 hp at 2p right? (I can't remember) Impressive!
Very close, 110 hp is max, though I did that damage on turn 3 so he wasn't at max (I think closer to 90 or a bit less) Btw yes, cards fully resolve their effects before triggering abilities (your own or enemies) so for your dagger spray example all the dagger hits would go off before triggering curl up
@@hoogomoogoturn 3 is pretty good for that much damage wow! that's great becuase I'm an idiot and asked the same question to myself in the next two videos I just edited and came to the same conclusion. It's locked into my brain now, but if you watch those vids get ready to hear me ask again XD
I'm mid way through act 2 now and your deck is getting eerily similar to mine that I was describing! For reference, my big damage turn that I mentioned was tantrum+>crush joints>conclude+ (with simmering fury+ in play and 2 strength from wish) It's pretty funny to me seeing your deck go the same direction
HARD DISAGREE, if I ever draw wish first I'm being asked to have 2 dead cards until I shuffle and have a chance of that happening again. No way, I'd rather the 2 strength garunteed every time
Omniscence ist one of the best tutors in the game. Think of it as Demonic Tutor, but you get to play the card for free twice. Even if you don't find Wish, it's still insainly powerful. @@Kangorth
@@benjaminsyttkus2499 I was super ok without it. I think it's great in the video game, not so much here since it only targets skills or attacks. I'd honestly rather just draw more variety for the turn and not have a potential dead card. Each to their own on this one :)
