THANKS GUYS!!! I will be undergoing Chemo therapy real soon, colon cancer into the Liver is a serious "Bad Beat" but with friends like doug and the poker community makes everything a lot easier to deal with adversity, this has made my day , cheers and good health to you all!!! Fraser
Frasier, may the hand of God cover you and comfort you in your time of need. My family as well has suffered extended illness and treatment. It is a rough time for all. May your family and friends find that same comfort and peace. I don't know you. But as a human being, I extend my love and desire for your life to progress as is best.
Hi Fraisier, sending best wishes for speedy and full recovery. Doug, I'm a long time viewer of your vlog, and just want to thank you for keeping all of us in check with the real world. Keep it going. 😊
Another entertaining vlog Doug. I feel like I know Fraser from his regular comments on the vlog. Fraser I wish you all the best and lots of strength in your fight!
Fraser you may have gotten a bad turn card but lets suck out on the river and felt this disease! Chip and a chair Stay strong Hoping praying to hear a good report when this is over
I hope all this positive energy helps you through the difficult days ahead. Thousands of viewers are thinking of you and your battle. I truly believe the run good is on its way.
Great to hear from Zeus again, he seems to like Frasier also Doug is one of the best people in poker so battle on Frasier so you can stay in Doug’s poker family. Doug if you were playing against Jaman, you would have been correct to fold on the 5,3,3 board, he just made 3’s full of 5’s.
I might actually go slightly larger with the JJ, there are a few things that favour a larger bet against an unbalanced opponent. I find that if you bet small, say 30% pot they feel like they are getting milked, but they often get more suspicious when facing a larger sizing. I might go $225, your line looks very bluffy, bet/x/bet is very bluff heavy after all.
I think he was shutting down after my call. The fact that he thought for so long makes me feel the sizing was close. Go bigger to make it look like a bluff or smaller to take him to value town? It’s a toss up 🤷
Saying the deck is going to be rich with small cards is a bit ridiculous. Mainly because you have no idea what hands were dealt to all the players… especially all the ones that folded pre. Even if three players have big hands with broadway type holdings, all the other hands could have easily been smaller cards leaving the deck most likely spread even between low and high cards. And it’s only 18 cards dealt preflop in a nine handed game. It’s not like blackjack where you’re seeing all the cards dealt and keeping a running count in a six deck shoe where the count actually means something. We’re talking one deck here, likely with two hands preflop with big broadway cards which means pretty much nothing as a predictor of what cards will hit the flop.
Certain players are only putting money in with big cards. I count those, others I have no idea what they hold so I don’t consider their cards. You can’t be exact, but a guesstimate is often enough to make a decision.
I enjoy playing small stakes poker and my vlog’s focus is to help recreational players play better. If they can play and not lose their ass, the game is more enjoyable.
Frasier I hope all goes well for you in your medical journey. If you feel meditation would help I teach it and would do a free consult over the phone. Just pm me and I will respond.
