I'm glad to know I was one of the last to paint at Belmont from 2000-2004. The last time I was there was in 2004 when cops started citing for trespassing. I actually had a warrant and got taken to the original Rampart station that's also gone, then transferred to the Glass House which is also long gone, ultimately ending up in Twin Towers for a night or two. Fun times.
Could any of these clips be 10 minutes or more? There are connections that don’t need to be clipped every couple questions. I love your work but waiting on the full interview for so long is getting disappointing.
He says in another clip there are only 2,500 copies in existence and they're all sold out. They also said almost every copy has been stolen from LA libraries. They're really hard to find. Resellers set the prices.
Fuck man I had a copy of it that my dad copped for me along with the Freight Train Graffiti book and a couple others and unfortunately it was lost in a storage unit I lost to auction along with my whole model train collection and hella canvases and prints I collected over the years fuck I totally regret not going in and busting the locks when I had the chance
