This makes me wanna go wander through woods of tall trees and mossy stones, to peek into big caves and tiny burrows, to lay on soft earth and not worry about when I have to get back up
the beginning of Honored Things is like the "bittersweet" sensation condensed into musical form, for me. Its both sad, and beautiful. Quite a powerful feeling.
This music is truly a piece of art, each note has love baked into it. Truly does wonders to get the ol' cogs turning! Beautifully done Witch Bolt, I'm eager to hear more from you.
@@WitchBoltMusic It shows, and it is wonderful to see the results of that love. I'm glad this video made it's way onto my end of the algorithm, because your creation is incredible.
My wife has a special gift for finding and elevating humble and discarded things. I wanted to make an album for her. I don't think she knows how much joy it brings people.
thank you so much for these stunning playlists. i always listen to them when i do anything and everything during the way and they make me feel so much less along and comforted,, you are amazing
Just used this for my D&D sessione, and oh boy if it was emotional 🥲💖 Thank you very much Witch Bolt, don't ever drop this aesthetic. It's... to *die* for.
Wow! Thank you for the kind words. For years I've been making music and never released anything. I finally did on a whim and to find out how much people enjoy it has added a lot of joy to my life .
This is transcendental. I first heard this submerged in water and was transported into an extra-dimensional trance Witch Bolt, thank you for so kindly sharing this music with us !
I really like the albums you've made, it reminds me of kingdom classic's ost and house's ost. I'm sure you are busy working on more so I'm excited to hear what you make next :D
This was just released yesterday and already has more than 5k views. I don't know dude, but for me that means talent and people enjoys it (I include myself). Keep it up Witch Bolt.
I dunno if you play much D&D yourself, and thats where you get your inspiration, but if you do, I kinda wish I could quietly watch one of your games. It feels, musically atleast, like you play in a genuinely beautiful world. Not like me and my buddy! We were wrestling a black dragon in a dark lake! It was freaky man! But yeah, I think if my imagination is right, that the worlds you adventure in must be wonderful places
I've only recently found your channel on a whim and I'm loving the music and air of whimsy so far! Very thankful to have discovered you x-)c Will be looking forward to more tracks to plan my homebrew DnD campaign to, haha
Very much enjoyed this! A lot of the other “dungeon synth” vids I’ve encountered have a low quality of musicianship that throws me off and makes it distracting as background music. This is quite the opposite. And don’t think I didn’t catch your rendition of Sweet Hour of Prayer. Was fully unexpected!
@@WitchBoltMusic yay! 🥇 for me lol I remember scavenging a little book that was something like "Appalachian Hymnal" and arranging them for brass quintet back in uni, so this is a hymntune I'll never forget
Looking foreward to playing it. The guy who wrote the tweet is very creative but his stuff is just not too popular right now. He’s got some culture war mindset stuff that bogs him down and gets in the way of just being exuberant with his work and it shows here.
new listener here. this brings me back to the LoZ, pkmn mystery dungeon, harvest moon/rune factory games. i need to go walk around a forest for a bit now.
I desperately want you to have it! Haha, I was just working on this. There are a few colors available. : my-store-fc1625.creator-spring.com/listing/witch-bolt-the-collector-w
Amazing! congratulations on your excellent work. Is there any chance I can have your permission to use this music on a retro medieval fantasy rpg? it would be a perfect fit, you would be credited of course! thanks for this amazing music.
Tools are my Microfreak, some custom samples, I use LABS plugins, some of the free BBC plugins. I started recording on a BR-532 as a kid growing up playing in hardcore and metal bands. I've tried everything over the years, and honestly embarrassed to admit it but GarageBand is so user friendly and easy to compose on-the-go... Sometimes master in Reaper, and some in GarageBand.
@@WitchBoltMusic Your music has inpared me complete and start my "old in my mind" dnd campain. This music, like other same ganres lately just flooded all my "go-to-job-music" time. Relaxation, inspiration - al of this has combine in to "fairytale" atmosphere where work - in is not depressing. Many things what created sress - kind of make no sense. Yesterday one of my "subscribed" youtubers released video about this genre. And i decided to study. "Musical background" equal zero. Thinking go to easy way - i before just push few buttons on FL Studio. And climped on youtube in search "Dungeon synth guide fl studio". No. I will continue the search but, if you wouldn't mind, could you write what need to zero start level with laptop? You the best. Happy days.
@@pvpIhero I'm definitely not an expert, and not a gear guy. You can start with a secondhand keyboard and tape recorder. I think the most intuitive software for quick startup is GarageBand. If you have an iPhone, I would start there.
Your music is incredible! Question though: did The Earth in Me Pt.1 not make it on to the apple music album? I felt like I was going insane trying to find that song.
My music is published through Distrokid, so it depends on what's in Twitch's database. As long as you purchase my material through BandCamp I have no problem with you using it and would greatly appreciate it
