Witch BookTube: October 2019 Witchy Book Haul

I am Temple tradition in year one so this makes me super happy.

I wanted to jump on and breakdown the series. They are used as textbooks for the Temple of Witchcraft tradition mystery school. Inner is year one, Outer is year two, Shamanic is year three, High is year four, and Living is year five. The website gives a ton more info on the school. They have online classes and in person classes. You can read them in whatever order you would like or use them however you like of course outside the school. They are full of great researched information. His other books are great. I love his writing style.

Yeah, Christopher is a good guy and excellent teacher. I’ve got a couple of his books, The Magick of Reiki and The Witch’s Shield. Well researched, good foundations, and scholarly but approachable writing style. I use the techniques in those books quite often.

The temple series actually has 6 books, inner, outer, shamanic, high, living goddess, living god (although I haven't read these). I have read another 3 book series by him the witch's shield, the witch's coin and the witch's heart.

I really enjoyed your 42 minute book haul video, don't mind longer videos on subjects I am interested in - plus I got many ideas for new material. I own a couple of Christopher's books, definitely not 101 - more advanced and in depth reading in my opinion.

lol Christopher is so prolific! I only have a few of his books and dying to get more. I am also not Wiccan but love reading about all paths and learn from everything I read! I've never even heard about The Mighty Dead so now very curious for a review!

So the only book that I've read of his is definitely not just 101. It was Ascension Magick: ritual. Myth. And healing for the new aeon. And it's quite a bit. But he has included tons of exercises to do and lots of info of course. I'll probably start over reading it and take better notes and keep a journal for the exercises. I would guess at least a few of his other books will have some sort of the same thing. He also has interest in the kabbalah so his viewpoints arent just wiccan he has really embraced it all to learn but has chosen that path.
