That's a day I'll never forget. Given that it's the anniversary, I thought I'd look up this footage again. We ran from that damn fire for two days. It was an epic horror.

not to mention i am finding zero youtube videos about how this fire spread to tijuana and what happened to those people in that prison right across the u.s. mexico border where u.s. fire trucks cannot go help them because of that border crossing they cannot get back to the u.s. without waiting in a traffic jam for sometimes 15 hours.

I was there for that. I call it the bitch creek fire...

depending on when this news report was made. those animals at the san diego wild animal park were in danger and some needed to be evacuated.
