My reaction and thoughts after the release of Lil Nas X Montero (call me by your name). This video has hit a lot of emotions for people who have told people they are "going to hell" and for people who have been told they are "going to hell". This has been for many reasons.
As someone who lives her life by following an "alternative" spirituality, this video has also brought out a lot of emotion and trigger memories of times I have been told this and the mental toll it took. NO ONE has the right to tell you how to live your life and what to believe in. Actions speak louder than words, and acting like an a**hole while defending it by your belief system does not make you morally sound or a good person.

Great reaction, one thing from my perspective was when Lil Nas took the crown/horns it was him taking control of his life. Remember Montero is his real name so all of this is internal, the video at least not the lyrics.

That’s very true, I did know that was his real name, just didn’t think of it at the time. That is a good perspective of it representing him being the “ruler” of his life.

I love him and his energy. I'm glad he's sending there energy back. This reaction made me subscribe to you and nice to meet you friend. Wicca is one of the oldest religion in the world. There are more in it than all others I do believe. The ancients practice this beautiful form of worship for the planet and nature and it's well-being. Thanks for a great review on this video.

This one of the best review/breakdown of what Lil Nas X Montero video and song was really about. So many other reaction videos that I've seen totally missed or couldn't understand what he was trying to show them. Many were way to caught up with devil worship NONSENSE and others were just terrified of a man (and being a black man at that) being out and open in the entertainment industry. Who has let go of the fear of being true to who he really is, no matter what religion and society has been bagging him over the head with for the majority of his young life. I loved everything about this young man's work. He is so talented and artistic. He a freaking genius and I'm am so so so here for it.

I was a wild child I tried church when I was a teenager and never fit in I’ve always been drawn to the craft even before my sister showed me I would make potions in the woods and use a old tree trunk as a mortar and pestle. When I was little h.r puff and stuff and witchy poo was my favorite mom said I would freak if she turned it off always knew when something was going to happen and I’m happy being an eclectic witch

Get a feel for the ones you are drawn to versus what they are “supposed to be for”. You usually end up getting the ones you need versus what you think you need. I have picked up some very interesting ones they I would have otherwise passed over. Happy crystal hunting and thank you for the sub. 😊

I dont know why this song makes me think of Bruno from encanto since he was outcasted for his gift and one verse always sticks out to me the line sign of the times every time that i speak. No one brings up this line but its hella powercul since christians are always thinking its the end of the world. The irony is my family didnt care much for encanto soely cause of brunos gift to see the future cause they think its evil.
