Huge kudos for being so thorough and finding these rare dialogues. I was mid-video thinking "what about if you just run past the ghosts and talk to them" - and you explored that aswell!
On my n-th playthrough in Skellige,a small unmarked island north of Ard Skellig you can find a ship wreck and a strange crest on the wreck. Also a body with notes that lead to Ursten in Velen, where you find a man barely speaking Common. He looks for a woman and a child. When you investigate the shipwreck near Ursten, you can find a trail that lead to this woman. She speaks a strange language, the man pursuing her catches up,and says he needs to kill her . You can then choose to help or let him do what he wants.
@@noooooooooooooooooooooooon is a common letter used in maths to indicate a variable. OP is saying that they do not remember how many times they have played through this game while implying that it's a high number
The quest called "From a Land Far, Far Away" - better if you don't speak to man and give captain's notes to woman firstly and then letter (because if you give letter first, then cutscene appears with that man you should beat).
I started my 4th playthrough recently and I'm generally a very thorough rpg gamer so I'm shocked at how much stuff I'm finding that I've never seen before. Not even just different choice results, but entirely new quests and character interactions. This game is wild and I hope the new one is even close to as good
I actually did the peace disturbed quest in that way. I somehow found that distructable wall when I was trying to get to the question mark, arad-ed it and got that rare conversation. the funny thing is that this happened in my first run of the game.
Thank you for a fantastic video! I'll be honest, wasn't expecting many surprises having put 500+ hours into this game haha. I often have that thought you noted of "surely that's it, right? nothing else?" lol, but there were multiple details in this I have never encountered before and you explored every possibility! Seriously impressed!
I once ran into "Peace Disturbed" early. Once I finished it, there's a notification where I failed another quest. This bugged me so hard that I reloaded my saved game and avoided the place entirely to finish other quests before heading back there. This puzzles me a lot. Note: never knew about the cracks in the tunnel heading to the other side of the hill. Great find. 👍🏻
All of these were new to me! Always look forward to more Witcher 3 content. Absolutely love this game and I think I'll have to do another playthrough now that the remaster has been delayed again!
The studio responsible for remaster was russian studio. They cut ties with them More likely due to aggresion on Ukrainę. I think that delay is justified if CDPR choose to not support agressors
All of the infos were new to me. I love that you're trying to find new or lesser known information that one probably won't find in Xletalis' videos. xD This of course means that you have to do a lot more digging and exploration.
I only found the celandine guy on my most recent playthrough, and the others were all new to me! This game is wild. Makes me wonder if you can actually find that lost at sea guy out there somewhere.
5:32 that's exactly what happened to me!!! I can't remember how did I end up exploring the unmarked entrance but I clearly remember that I was shocked by completing a quest like that and even was scared of the probability of loosing some details or even content
Oh man i miss this game alot bro ive done all the quests meself😂so many times but anyways thanks for ur hardworking dedication and uploading the videos bring backs some good old memories no not old i still love the game and honestly i do still playing over and over again cant get bored of this legendery game keep growing and keep up the good stuff/work bro
I found this completely by accident on my first playthrough. Came out of the other end and completed the quest. Just completed it but knew it was pretty rare so I immediately googled it ahah
I came back to the cave with ghosts by climbing down the mountain out of boredom, and on the other entrance, you can find a hidden chest with decent loot.
This game is simply incredible. I'm amazed by how the developers thought of all the ways a player might approach each and every quest. Missions don't play out exactly the same for everybody, like they do in most games. That's got to be the biggest reason The Witcher 3 has the reputation that it does.
"extreme care and effort put into every detail" - peasents still celebrating on ard cerbin even long after main quest ends and despite foglets roaming the area
the crypt part somehow triggered a memory of my ... maybe fifth playthrough of the game: velen, dragonslayer's grotto, dark room, exploding poison gas, ekimmara, random out of nowwhere op leshen!?! pantsshitting excitement!!! mashing all the buttons!!! and finally maybe exploding myself to death. oh what a time we had!
The Witcher 3 is definitely my favorite rpg game and one of my top 3 favorites. It's just so well made you can play for many hundreds of hours and still not see everything the game has to offer.
I actually just got to skelige so I'm pretty excited, kinda under leveled but only a little just gotta do a few quests. I love how much lore and storyline this game has
About that last quest, when they said something about the fire and getting a boost, I remember I climbed it, got right next to the fire (i don't remember if I can aard it and then igni it) but I didn't get any boost. It is a bit challenging getting on top, but feasible after a few tries.
Just for notes, I'm pretty sure the missing fisherman is the son of the blacksmith at mad man lugus home. He is sad and acts mean and you can ask him whats wrong and he tells you
I actually did do Peace disturbed this way, i was on some way too a difrent quest and in my head i though this may be a shortcut through that hill and maybe ill find some nice weapons and stuff. Needless too say im very happy now.
Love your videos! Please do this for cyberpunk! Pawel Sasko mentioned that there are much more hidden choices and details like this in cyberpunk, but apparently they are much harder to find. I feel like it's a great place for you to dig in since so few channels are trying to do this
One thing that bugs me a bit, is that the woman outside the crypt says "ever heard a ghost walk so loud, drag it's feet" which doesn't make sense since witchers are very light on their feet and dont make any noise, a point which the game shows in white orchard where geralt visits the nilfgardian captain at their camp in white orchard for the first time. just a minor thing i noticed
Peace disturbed - funny thing! That is how I did the first time - I entered the crypt the "wrong" way and when I left they did just that. Then I replayed it just to see if talking to them first would give some coin... but nah... just Freya apreciation!
Geat thanks, i just arrived in skellige(dont ask how many times i played the game) this time im on a different difficult level and have all of the sudden other quests. Im very exited what skellige offers. Plus my decisions are different...i will never get away from W3🥰
tell you a secret (i don't know if it is a secret). Once you use the Ice Bomb on human or most of the monster, they will just die by one hit -- not by sword but by punch.
I have more than 450hrs on this game, and yet I discover new things (like the side quest with the women and the crypt). Thanks for the nice video, and thanks to CDPR for making such an awesome game!
Love your vids! Regarding ideas: I was looking some time ago for information about all the differences to the game that come when you load the Witcher 2 save. Not the ones that can be simulated, but the "secret" ones. I know about 2: Geralt's tattoo and the letter in Oxenfurt academy talking about experiment performed on Geralt. This would probably require huge effort to sort completely out, but I would love to see it and replay Witcher 2 accordingly to have the save prepared for Complete edition whenever it comes.
I've thought about that, but there aren't really all that many (unfortunately). You can look in the files and see what information transfers over that's exclusive to PC / importing a save. The Witcher 3 just kinda ignores or avoids a lot of Witcher 2 outcomes. That is a video I'd like to make, it'd just be a headache.
How does the quest play out if you ignore the women, run into the crypt, clear it out or not and return up? And what if you ignore them, run around and go through the back entrance, will they recognize you?
The quest designers did one thing and the devs who implemented the levelling system did another, screwing up a lot of hard word. If you ignore the levelling requirements or find a mod that removes levelling for items, armours, weapons, enemies and quests, The Witcher becomes 1000% better. Find a new diagram for a sword or armour, make it and use it. Want to jump between Skelliege, Novigrad and Velen, done, the quest characters will acknowledge it in dialogue. It's pretty crazy that no one foresaw how bad the levelling system would screw up quest design and exploration. In New Game + at level 60 I found a diagram for a sword that was level 94, like what is even the point? The only thing that needs a level is Geralt so you can get skill points, imagine fighting a drowner 10 levels below you and killing it with one swing and then fighting a drowner 10 levels above you and not being able to do any damage. I love The Witcher but the more I play the more I realise how inexperienced some of the gameplay devs were.
i would like to see exact location of the quest to free the guy from the sea stone chains. i was looking for this quest in game and i couldnt find it, not the guy and not the village. he killed some uncle because his little sister told him he hurt her... i think
what an amazing game this is. The Devs really put every other game designers to shame with their attention to detail. I just hope they put the same effort into Witcher 4. If we're all still alive I mean it's been forever now get cracking on the game already CD Red dudes Some of my Fav quests are the simple ones that add nothing to the main quests and are just random events that seem to happen to NPC strangers that just need the help of a witcher and you covered some of the best ones as Skellige is rife with these kinds of small side quests
ha, I actually did try looking around. I found a body with red pants as described, but the shirt didn't seem to match and there are so many random bodies around it was probably just a coincidence.
Great video! Hadn't noticed these details before and I think I've seen every single details vid on RU-vid! I have discovered some pretty cool ones of my own about the Night of the Long Knives.. What would be the best way of sharing these with you @Neon Knight? You might find them interesting :)
What will the new Witcher Be about? They stopped the White Frost which was essentially there Ragnarok. CDPR Really needs to take time and think about what direction they want to take this game into...and also make sure it not buggy like Cyberpunk was.
4:31 This guest is not so surprised because there are many guests that player(Geralt) unintentionally completes before meeting the original poster, I played quite often like that and when you complete the guest, you will be notified to go back to the poster for rewards. The games developers teams are logically thinking of the active way and passive ways of each guest which makes this game a true RPG (follow the guest instructions from the notice board and complete the guest) and open-world (players would complete any guest while roaming around the map and then will be notified to get the reward from the guest posters) You can have different experiences every time you replay the game, this will be the best experience to enjoy
