I recommend going for the invigoration enchantment on swords in the heavy attack build. It sinergizes much better with ekhimmara and ekidna decoctions and the whole build overall: since you are always going to be regenerating health by spending stamina/dealing damage and also amount to always be at full health (hence the water hag decoction), invigoration increases your dps significantly more than just having more reach with rend.

Whirl tank build is always gonna be the most op build. I just love it mainly cause the ursine armor looks sick on all levels and its fun

I'm trying to go for a Whirl + Sign build. Would love any & all help in the comments. I'm not too familiar with the Alchemy skills as I never dabbled into that. I know I want attack power + sign as my main point but trying to find a combo is difficult.

with the new gen i tried to do a bomb build with the buff at the manticore sett with bombs and it's pretty good, probably not broken but fun, and you can almost one shot some of contract monsters if it crits, i suggest you to try it, it's very fun peculiar.

Recommend getting "Light feet" perk from middle red tree. It negates all damage during rolls and jumps. I have it even on my sign build, saved my a lot of hustle with quen reapplication :)

With the Griffin armor I recommend the entanglement enchantment it compliments it like no other

I find conductor of magic more effective. Igni for mobs, Investing in aard does stupid amount of damage vs bosses, high hp mobs and those resist burning

My first build was a jumbled mess like I do in most RPGs but in NG+ I used the euphoria strong attack build. Want to make a master signs build this time that can still hold its own in combat and has a useful level of alchemy.

as far as i know yrden does % damage per tick. but whats up with its alternate mode? is that flat damage or also %?

Sorry for bad english but: In the build with signs, along with the new decoction stat that now takes 50% poison instead of 75%, you can take 2 at a time. The poison is then 100%, but Euphoria is at 75% all the time. Adding to this Perk that maintains the food bonus for 20 minutes (from Blood and Wine), we don't lose vitality (from staying at 100% poison) and we don't have to eat anything every now and then. Personally, I'm using ekkima decoction (attacks regenerate vitality) and echidna (using stamina, including signs, regenerate vitality). I don't need a swallow to regenerate, I have a high percentage of Euphoria. As a result, I have powerful signs. I can't use other potions and the health bar is green all the time, but the long buff effect along with Master Griffin Armor gives a massive kick.

You can use quick casting. To save time. And seemless gameplay.

the point of the netflix build is to put yrden and spam aard inside it like you do in the traidional signbuild. its just a different variant

U should put entanglement on for Henry Cavill build. Makes the Aard/Yrden combo even more OP

In the Cavill build you have the Severance enchantment on your swords. That is for Whirl and Rend, yet you don’t have those abilities. You are not using protective coating and/or arachas decoction, that’s why you almost die from 2 dog bites. In the Whirl build, use Manticore set for more crit chance and crit dmg and the extra toxicity allows you to use 4 decoctions + potions. Especially if you also use fast metabolism, you can drink Tawny, Thunder and Blizzard. That rapes everything. Especially Blizzard is very strong this patch. Also in thuis build use Ekkimara, Arachas, Katakan and Troll. Troll for the regen, so you don’t lose HP cause of toxicity, the you can also forget the skill that increases toxicity lvl from 50 to 80%. Since you will go above 80% anyway. I stopped watching because your builds seem very rushed, not thought out very well. I’m fine with builds where a few skills are up for debate, but your first 2 builds were dead wrong…

casual comment i havent replayed witcher 3 for years but i rmbr a friend of mine had this green build where he was fighting the guards n shit and it was super broken, is that still a thing?

I feel like with this builds, you can only really them fully near the end of the game, with tons of grinding, really stops me from wanting to play it for the 2nd, 3rd time.

Is the aard freeze build still gimmicky? I remember sometimes it would do like 200 damage while the tooltip said 2000/3000 or something, and those mobs were NOT resistant at all, so never understood the reasoning behind that, kinda made me lose interest.

Recommend you to use cavill build in Griffin grandmaster armor because u will get crzy 100℅ whenever u in irden also with this bonuses u will have about 450% sign intensity so u will get crazy damage even with igni (I do like 1000 damage to 90lvl troops per second, but if troop stands in irden damage is about crazy 3000)

Why you don't use the quick sign system?

sometimes your vitality is at 5925 and sometimes at 8625. is that a bug or am I missing something?

I'm going *Full Reds* with Grandmaster Wolven gear .. hadn't finish play yet, still ongoing DLC Blood & Wine, after this i'll add some mods to feel fresh gameplay.

Surely with strong attack build you want iris sword for it's juicy big DPS buff on strong attack when charged it would make for a absolutely broken strong attack wep

The last one looks strange. Using light armor with strong attacks, missing the ursine bonus for them and the Quen enchantment...

Unless I'm missing something, I don't think it makes any sense to use levity when you're already equipped with light (feline) armor

I have a whirl build which makes him spin forever, u need runescribe from Hearts of stone expansion and the rune on the blade which gives stamina refil whenever he kills, he keeps whirling because every kill keeps giving stamina back

I’ve always done a crit and alchemy build used to use manticore armor or cat but plan to make another run after I finish my first run on next gen and make a sign build this time never made a sign build before and I’ve beat this game like 20 times already amazing game but a sign build looks fire

i still think they didn't go far enough with the update when it comes down to quick use of spells and potions, nobody likes going into the clunky slow menu just to choose a potion and then return to the game, it slows the pace and feel of the fight and feels sluggish. with that said, i do like the new additions to how they made the buttons have a quick function that can be done without the circle menu, i just feel they could have extended it further by far.

Hunter instinct still doesn't work,even though CDPR says in their next gen 4.0 patch notes..Also I have done my own testing and it gives no crit hit damage at all.

I don't know maybe I was just more experienced this time but Death March felt way easier next gen. I was doing lvl 35-40 quest at lvl 12 with no trouble.

I still think that the Euphoria build with bear or feline with the nilfguardian gauntlet, 4 decoctions (used to be 5) and whirl and rend is the strongest build.

Why Cat School Techniques if you are wearing Heavy armor in the StrongAttack build

The best bulid is balanced. Alchemy+attack+signs. Then I enjoy the game. I only played under signs and igni, it was a very strong build but it didn't give me joy. Only attack doesn't make me happy either. I like to use everything, attack, signs and being able to drink a lot of potions. The difficulty level of this game is low, you don't need to be incredibly strong. However, the game for 2015 is extensive and you can have fun creating new builds. The new generation has changed skills. As I wrote before, I only played signs, then played attack, adrenaline and crit. It was fun but only for an hour or two. Then I always went back to a balanced build.. You can have a strong attack, strong signs and be able to drink a lot of potions. I mean new game plus. I would like to see a new generation that changed the difficulty level. I would like the hardest level to be hardcore only for a few players, every fight with bandits should be very difficult. 95% of players would give up on this difficulty but I wish I had a challenge.
