These are absolutely stunning! As for losing what’s right in front of me, I’m very familiar with that vision thing. It’s called RP (retinitis pigmentosa). 😂 I have a retinal disease (RP) & an optic nerve defect. I’m always losing stuff. Sometimes I get downright frustrated when I’ve lost something. My daughters or husband will say, ‘It’s right there at your hand!’ Although, that’s not as bad as my losing things when they’re right in my hand. LOL! Someone once described having RP as, ‘Seeing a pencil on the floor but tripping over an elephant to get to it.’ Only for me, I don’t see more than a few inches away. My peripheral vision is severely lacking too.

Since the Duncan black you used on your witches is no longer available, maybe Amaco celadon Charcoal C5 might work as a substitute.

🇨🇦👋 I have been binge watching again. Time well spent. QUESTION: Where can I find the PDF of your triangulate bases? Tried making my own, but it always to come out wrong. Help please - point me into the right direction.

I haven't made one yet. I think I need to. But let me talk you through it. It's a 6x6x6 triangle with a curved bottom. That's it. 😀

Just found your videos. So adorable. Can I ask if you’re using a low fire or mid fire clay?
@hobblecreekpottery

Glad you found me. I fire midfire, cone 5/6. I'm using reclaim in the witches, ghosts, and gnome videos.

What Cone firing do you use for your glaze firing on these? any particular glaze that you use? I want to use glaze that does not run. Thank you

I am new here is this clay air dry or have to be baked?
@hobblecreekpottery

This is stoneware clay that is fired to a cone 5. But you could try it with air dry clay.

What size heart cookie cutter did you use?
@hobblecreekpottery
@hobblecreekpottery Год назад
For the hair? It's one I've had for decades. The heart has one side longer than the other so it works great for creating movement.

@@hobblecreekpottery would Marco’s Black Ice be a proper equivalent, you think? Also, that luster finish is beautiful, can you please advise the product, I’m super new to clay building and I would love to recreate one of your ladies!
