First off loved this! Was really really enjoyable! I will have to say one thing, having dream catchers, sage, etc is not an example of cultural appropriations I do feel it is a bit wrong for you to be negative those shops and say that about them. You are a well traveled woman so you should understand that these items do not belong to North American tribes only. All cultures that have shamans, shamanism in their spirituality have dream catchers, burn white and other types of sage etc. Russian shamans have dream catchers, shamans from Japan and Bhutan, here in Sweden Norse shamans(I can show you photos of Lapp shamans ones that are not much different from what you showed there) have dream catchers, Pics and Druids of where you were at in the British Isles also and others etc. Including North American native tribes as they also have shamanism. Yes they may be different styles with different materials etc reflective of the animals, culture of the area, people but they are all dream catchers and referred too as that. And sage burning also. When I lived in Japan a shaman burnt sage, white sage also no he was not insulting North Americans! Just like I saw in your London one or maybe this one some other items like Buddha's, a Foo Dog set or Dragon headed Turtle etc is not an insult to Buddhist. Saying that only certain people can sale certian things and it is wrong for those that are not perceived a path creates segregation and predjuced within the pagan, witch community. I saw too much of this in the USA so I am glad UK is not doing this.

Sigyn, I couldn’t agree more. Witchcraft, above all other spiritual paths is an eclectic stir of all cultures and aren’t we delighted it is!? Each generation and culture has contributed their own aspect of what is often, quite similar to many others: Amazing in a time when word-of-mouth and the written word was all they had.. yet, oddly enough, the stories are distinctly similar (Baba Yaga or the Faries) the practices, the same (salt to protect or menstrual blood for love and lust). The phenomenon of Cultural Appropriation is a recent term, founded on really nothing but divisiveness. When we welcome foreign people into our homes, we do so, sharing our traditional foods or traditional holidays or practices… And when these foreign people pick up one of these practices and use them on their own (asking for a recipe, for example) they are honoring our culture. What a wonderful tribute and effort to understand another people and their way of life..After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. All things, Witchcraft are all things from all people- honestly, I don’t know how anyone can practice witchcraft and not misappropriate all cultures.. IF this is a yardstick by which we measure appropriation. I would wither if I couldn’t buy and burn my favorite Hindu incense, Damascus Rose reminds me of my Irish Grammy: A gift from my Military PawPaw who traveled the world- is it appropriation for her to have worn this delicious scent her Love brought her from exotic Turkey? No, she was reveling in the skilled craftsmanship of thousands of generations of humans, busy extracting this golden liquid from the petals of indigenous roses.. she was wearing living history and dreaming of a far away land she would, sadly, never experience.. but PawPaw had brought this to her from across time. She was APPRECIATING culture, not appropriating it, and let’s be clear: There is no better way to understand our neighbors than to walk a mile in their shoes and experience their existence, while sharing yours. In peace and understanding… 💗

@@michellegomes2030 Yes I did see that also. Unless you personally know the owners of a shop you should not accuse them of things or put negative things about them on a video to post online for anyone to see. The owner could be or have people of a Native American, Buddhist, HIndu etc background that is proud to sale items not regionally found in a shop. I am a black woman from the US originally but I live in Sweden. If me or my husband who is Swedish opened a shop and some items that are from black US culture were sold there and someone came in and said he as a white Swede was insulting, making money off black US culture he would be greatly offended. He had a simlar experience where at his work he had a photo quote of MLK, from his "I have a dream" speach. An American white guy insulted him saying he had no right to have that. And how he was upset that he leaves USA moves to Sweden and has to deal with "fake" liberals etc. He explained to him his wife is a black American woman so MLK and civil rights movement is something he feels strongly about. The white American guy just assumed my husband was ignorant, and was shocked he would have a black American wife.

Looks like you had a magical trip. Did you see the Beltane festival in Glastonbury? It's a lot of fun. Next time you go to Glastonbury, you might like to go up the Tor and visit Chalice Well as they are very magical places. Avebury is also relatively close and, unlike Stonehenge, is free.

White Sage is not cultural appropriation unless it’s sacred white sage bush (Artemisia ludoviciana) which is part of the aster family (Asteraceae) and considered threatened in areas. 98% of all white sage sold is (Salvia apiana) which is a member of the mint-family (Laminaceae) that is only native to California and Baja, Mexico,

I don't have a car, but I hope there'll be a train or bus as well xD Generally, the English countryside is on my bucketlist, I just need the means to get to and from there xD Ay well I hope you had the best time!! x3

Thank you so much for this, what do you mean by no dreamcatchers and so on? I was taught in shamanism to begin with by a native canadian shaman for example. . . . . (I'm swedish by the way:) )

So glad you enjoyed your trip to the UK. I feel very lucky to live here, but, yes, £25 for Stonehenge does seem rather expensive. I live fairly close to Glastonbury and visit the town often for the bookshops and other, more genuine, shops. The Abbey is worth a visit, in my mind, whether you are Christian or pagan. It is a special place for all. Just bought you book, by the way.

This term was also used by people when I lived in Hungary and Romania. And when I visited your country Latvia and Lithuania. I was a follower of Romuva for many years. I was so happy to go and see paganism there and visit places like the Hill of Crosses and ancient pagan sites in Latvia and Lithuania that are important to Romuva. I was treated so poorly by the pagan groups, there and told since I was not of their ethnic background I should stop following Romuva and was not welcome at all! Even though I had been a follower of that path for over 15yrs at the time.
@pomegranateandivy9833

That's so sad to read!! I don't know about Romuva, the tradition you've mentioned. But I'd like to share a little bit of my own experiences: before I got into Polytheism and Paganism and Witchcraft, I really loved Judaism and I was studying it for many years. I'm German, all my family members are. My great grandmother was killed by the Nazis because she was mentally ill. 😣 The Jewish community I joined for learning was so welcoming, I'm still surprised by those people!! But there are boundaries as well. There are practices that are closed - some of them like Recitation of the Kaddish, which is the prayer for the dead - you need 10 Jewish men for that - Jewish women are not allowed, non-Jews are also not allowed to pray Kaddish. And there are practices that are open to everyone that wants to improve their relationship with the Jewish G'd. At the time I stick to those open practices and I still do today. I always feel sorry for somebody experiencing things that you've gone through. It's very sad to follow a certain tradition because you love it and experience that other people of the same tradition are not open for you to even be there. 😕

Crazy I was there at the same time as you! Stonehenge is free if you park up and walk to it, not using the car park. £25 is basically for parking and the museum. Made the same mistake myself and plan on going free next time!

I have been following your videos recently, but covered quite a lot. I enjoy the knowledge. You are unique in speech and living, I feel. Not in bad or wrong sense, but I could only use that “unique” word. You are wonderful. I had a query. Do you have any book recommendations for dream interpretation? Or someone who I can approach for the same? I am very troubled by my dreams. They are not nightmares, but they are quite intense mostly. So I want to know and understand.
