Brandy it’s almost May and I have to buy the witch hat wreath form now. I keep watching that design over and over. I have been buying the things I need when I see them at DT. I need to get the mesh however I also found a black thin scarf that I might use instead. Urs is gorgeous! Hands down the best Halloween design I have ever seen too. I agree with a lot of the followers too.
Love that witch hat. I need to make that. I think you need a little Totally Dazzled bling. That would make it even more pretty. I’ve also seen “bodices” made with the mesh trash cans from DT. I’ve got to find me a good thrift store.

I understand. I would never pay full price for any of it. Thankfully I have a really good thrift source and Dollar Trees. To save some money, you could cut lace from an old dress or tablecloth if you have it. You can use an old pillow like I did to stuff it or even maybe newspaper to stuff it if nothing else. Any greenery you have on hand can be painted if you have black paint. You can use an old earring for the jewel on top. Hopefully this helped give you some options to make it even more cost efficient. Yes, you can use the foam cones at Dollar Tree by using the bottom one whole and then cut the second in thirds and invert the smallest piece on top. It will look an hours glass, similar anyway. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
It can be. If you use bits you already have, and thrifted pieces you can save a lot of money compared to what you would pay retail. Look at items you may have already. You can cut lace from an old dress or skirt or even curtains. You can use a kids ring for the jewel. You can use yarn you may already have scraps of instead of mesh tubing. And any old scarf can be used for the tie around. Plus, you can get black paint from Dollar Tree and recycle old greenery picks by painting them. I hope I’ve given you some ideas that push you to think outside of the box. What I do is to inspire others, you don’t have to use exactly what I use. Thanks for watching!
@@MakingItMyOwn, there is the rub. I have nothing. No old greenery, no old lace anywhere, no kids, so no kids’ rings. I recycle things as soon as I’ve finished using them. My mother was a hoarder of sorts and I am trying to avoid her situation. Nonetheless, your projects are so cute.
