I hate visible branding too. I have a very “out there” style, and I’ve never blended in with my peers but maybe that’s why I don’t like it? Logo mania was a thing when I was in middle school and high school and I never understood why you would pay a brand to be a billboard for them!
Yes! Defined not a fan of visible labels either. I love the whimsigothic aesthetic. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to join my love for whimsigothic and mid century modern to decorate my home lol
I love this! I'm also a capsule wardrobe user, and hate visible branding on clothes. I've been slowly adding more whimsy and "magical feel" to my wardrobe, including some LIGHT COLORS? and ruffles... I'm branching out after wearing nothing but t-shirts and black trousers for work for years. I'm totally down for more videos like this! 💚
Great video. Just wanted to comment on some of your questions. A turtleneck is normally folded to the outside, but if you leave it straight up, it falls back and looks better. The "tank" tops are better described as sleeveless tops (both cute). The plaid long sleeve actually is a genuine plaid weave just not a traditional Scottish plaid (cute and nice color for your eyes). The lace on your patchwork top is just lace; macrame is a totally different technique. Finally, Google grey goop in laundry. It's some sort of build up in your machine and Google will help you troubleshoot it for cleaning your washer and fixing your clothes. It's happened to me before and is frustrating. Great haul though. PS I live in Oregon next to Portland. Love it here! Close to the coast and the mountains. You will want all your sweaters!
With that first cream colored dress, jackets and sweaters are always my want, I do the same style in summer with thinner sized up linen button ups left open to get the effect without it being as hot in Florida. Rolling up the sleeves and making the cuff. Love all these choices!!!
I think using a knife to open a box is ok on RU-vid. A couple RU-vid channels I watch where they do unboxing, and even open the knife up with that ‘safety first’ flourish 😆

Just coming across this video, and I have to advise you to hang on to the hot weather Miami clothes. Not sure how soon the PNW is in your future, but the summers have been getting deadly hot. Seriously hot. Like, the summer before last had a freaky ‘heat dome’ that poached everything alive in the tide pools for miles on the coast of BC. It’s getting crazy - we have to dress for it.

I've mainly lived in the Pacific northwest since the 1970s. I've lived in a couple of places in eastern Washington before settling in western Oregon more than 40 years ago. I love it here overall, but hate the endless months of the gray gloomy rainy winters. I'm into witchy thrifting videos, and get some good ideas from them, but I'm not into videos about clothing thrifting.
Loved Sabrina the teenage witch growing up but it is more of fake Hollywood glamourized witchcraft and the chilling adventures of Sabrina is more based on actual witchcraft charmed loved charmed as well the original charmed not the reboot crap charmed was a bit of both fake and real witchcraft mixed together the craft is also another good example of based on real witchcraft with some fake love them all though
I have some ideas! Put a little moon or Sun patch over the brand on that shirt and maybe dye the silky shirt if that's possible. I loved your video, I am also trying to find my style. 💚🌞🌛
I am working on being more intentional with the clothes I buy too. And there are certain pieces that fit “practical magic” that I am hunting for. Also, I just looked at your twitch. I have animal crossing too. Haven’t played in awhile, but I enjoyed designing clothes & for Halloween a made a Sarah Sanderson (hocus pocus) inspired dress for my character 😊.

I live in Washington state. It's absolutely terrible here. Very expensive cost of living and and barely any rentals in smaller towns.. Oregon is just as bad.. not trying to be discouraging just want to warn you. It's very beautiful but only if you can afford to live in those coveted areas.
It's interesting to hear you say this! I would love to chat more about this topic. It's always nice to hear from individuals that live there. Housing is a major issue in every city I've ever been, that is definitely not specific to Washington. As far as cost of living goes, yes it is expensive. Quite a bit above the national average, however I already live in one of the most expensive cities in the country; Miami. Most of the areas I am interested in living in Washington are less expensive, or the same. Curious to hear if you have any advice for places to live, or places to avoid. Thank you in advance!! :)
It's very beautiful and some may love it if you don't mind the cost of living. Anywhere cheap is probably like that for a reason.. I was born and raised there and the population within the last 10 years has absolutely exploded. So as long as you don't mind tons of people at literally every event and national forest and senic spots are always packed. If you're a people person western Washington (the coastal region, seattle area) is perfect. But it you're not so much a people person and prefer warmer summers, snow and tons of sunshine Eastern Washington ( the mountain areas, wenatchee or spokane) are more rural, affordable and not as over crowded. I definitely love the coastal areas, however Seattle is too big for me. I’m looking at the peninsula, the islands and north of Seattle the most. Do you have any favorite towns in the north west?
@@simplywitchedof course! I actully lived and Leavenworth and highly recommended it it's so magical especially in winter. And for the costal area I really like Bellingham is really cute and has kind of a hipster feel and a lot of young people because a college is near by. Washington is really awesome there is a lot to do.
