Finally someone animated an animated animation about how awesome animation is. Animation.

He talks about animation taking loads of frames, but that not even half the effort, he also needed to write a script for the song, vocals for the song and music to go with his voice to make this, and he must of taken many hours making this awesome piece of work

I can just imagine the Vampire T.rex stalking the streets of Victorian London, and everyone thinks he is just a normal T.rex.

How is it this is the fucking first time in my life I hear about a vampire T-Rex.

Whenever I don't feel like animating, I'll just watch this video, and then spend the next 10 hours animating.

A 1 minute animated video has around 1440 frames...... from this day forward I will kindly respect all animators and await patiently for their next work.

When it got to the part "Or make stuff that is totally bland" I thought you made those characters up as I thought, something as horribly boring as that couldn't possibly exist. And then I happened to stumble on it a few weeks later and am now horribly depressed. Also this was amazing as usual.

He probably made this to quit all these youtubers bitchin' about the time it takes to create his animations. Give the man a break, he's human, not a robot programmed to satisfy your needs on your schedule. Be thankful he does put these out there.

Poor guy... you need a faithful and devoted crew to work under you. To do the in-betweens and whatnot. You should ask for volunteers! If I had any animation talent at all- I'd help... I'm sure there has gotta be some fans out there who are willing AND able!

I remember the first time I saw this, thinking to myself how much I wanted to become an animator myself and how happy I was about starting my animation study. 3 years later and I'm working as an intern at an animation studio. It's funny to see how things can change :)

What i love so much about animation is that you can really do anything. It's just this open medium where anything you can think of and anything you can create, you can make. Anything that you could do in live-action, you can also do it with animation and make it better. I think that animation will always allow for more expressive and more creative stories :) What i'm trying to say is...i LOVE animation ^^

1 minute = 1,440 frames; 700 Drawings = 1 minute of animation on 2s = roughly 12 drawings/second of animation. That's also not including any mistakes, redos, and experimentation.

0:40 IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL! I dont own the equiptment to start animating, or hav a fast enough computer to handle photoshop/adobe flash, and i have so many ideas in my head i just wana like put a usb jack into my head like in Ghost in The Shell and Downlaod all my ideas onto a computer.

I totally get what you're saying with having limited people and resources- if you have a passion for something but lack the right factors, it can be hard to develop and flourish But since learning to animate recently, I've found a whole new expanse of freedom to do what I want. Harry even though you don't upload I really admire your passion for these videos for when you could upload one animation a month they would be rushed and low quality but you have real passion for what you do and put out the best video you can so no matter what I will always look up to you for the dedication you put into your work and I look forward to what ever you do next

Harry, I'd just like to say you are officially one of my heroes and inspirations. I just began to delve into the world of animation today and you never have a true appreciation for how much hard work something is until you try it yourself. I could be working for 5 hours straight and not even come CLOSE to something as good as Harry! Hopefully I didn't jump on the bandwagon too late and I can catch up to him ;)

Say thanks to Ross! I'm going to watch the whole playlist he made an annotation for and all the ads that go with it (No skipping [unless it's several minutes long] !). I hope many people do the same. Here is the link to the playlist: With Animation You Can! The playlist is 101 videos in total, hopefully it will drive a little bit of revenue for all of these RU-vidrs. I don't want this type of content and the produces of such content to disappear from RU-vid. But, at the same time, if an opportunity arrives for any of them to get more money working elsewhere then I would encourage them to go for it. Everyone here understands that you need to make a living. Hopefully RU-vid can respect that is this a different type of content... and maybe a way could be found to treat it differently because it's a different type of audience that watches animations and watches LPs for hours. Yes the viewer groups will overlap, but they can still be treated differently. Perhaps a way to encourage a viewer watching your animation to continue watching the rest of your catalog, or the catalogs of other similar artists and have revenue sharing and more ads to provide more monetary support if the viewer wishes to do so. Just ideas that I, and others, have to help people make a living, like any other human being needs to do in our society. Good luck to you, and to all.
