About Sally Schott:
Sally Schott taught secondary school choir from 1964-2004 and has 19 years of service as a student teaching supervisor for UH and SHSU. She is an educational consultant for multiple school districts and creates and coordinates festivals and performance tours for American Classic Tours and Music Festivals. Professional service includes President, ACDA’s Southwestern Division; TMEA Vocal Vice President and President; TCDA Vice President. Conference performances include national ACDA and MENC; three ACDA Southwestern Divisions, and six TMEA conventions. Awards include PISD HS Teacher of the Year (1979); USAO Alumni Hall of Fame (1996); TCDA Choral Excellence Award (1978); Houston Symphony School Bell Award for Lifetime Achievement (2013); SHHS Hall of Honor (2013); 17th recipient, TCDA Texas Choirmaster Award (est. 1978) for excellence in choral performance and musicianship (2017). Collaborative publishing projects include DVDs featuring Weston Noble, Paul Salamunovich, Sandra Snow, Charlene Archibeque; two textbooks; six books in the “SMART”, “Keys to Sight Reading Success”, and “Insight Singing” series.

About Eddie Quaid:
Eddie Quaid taught for a total of thirty-five years as a choral director in Oklahoma and Texas and now maintains an active schedule as conductor and clinician for Jr. and Sr. High choirs. He was choral director and Fine Arts Chair at Cy-Fair High School for twenty-two years and after retirement was director of the Choral Scholars, an advanced and salaried choir of high school age singers, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. He received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Oklahoma and was also awarded a scholarship to the Aspen Music Festival Choral Institute. Eddie is a founding member and Vice-President of publications for Alliance Music Publications. He was awarded the Texas Choral Directors Association Choral Excellence Award in 2019 and is committed to his work as co-Educational Consultant for the Houston Chamber Choir.
