This flat twist out is perfection. I am new to your content. I like how you are so knowledgeable but also just a normal person sharing your experience with out all the extra annoying loudness and overblown fake personality that some RU-vidrs seem to think we want to see.
Thank you for your care and caution in sharing your experience! Thank you for recognizing your scope of influence and taking the responsibility seriously ❤ You are beautiful inside and out!
Your twist out came out really cute! Your hair has shine and looks soft and healthy. Just a lil tip for future twist outs, if you use a comb to creat a coil at the ends using your styler, your twist out will have curly ends😊when you undo your twists. Keep your content coming. I enjoy watching/listening to you.
Your twists are really neat. Great job! I can relate to quite a few things that you brought out on here…. Thank you for being honest, empathetic, courageous & kind. Not everyone are willing to get in front of a camera & do what you did in the way you did it. May God bless your efforts🙏🏽
Thank you. It is a delicate situation and when I did this live last month, I ended up taking it down on my IG page because I didn't want to be in the middle of it all and definitely don't want to take any sides. I did this because I was honestly starting to get concerned about my hair and this helped alleviate some of my fears.
Hooded dryer and diffuser apparently is more intense than blow out with Revair or Dyson ? I don’t know. I am from Australia the only reason I never got a curly cut was because we have no stylists here so the wave came and went ☺️.. I felt really left out my shape is not shaping.
I never use conditioners or masks that do not have a mix of protein and moisture because I have fine strands. It gives my hair a really nice fullness and bounce!
The twist-out is looking great!💜 I can appreciate you being candid about panicking and buying things you were not certain you needed.👏 I'm going to preface what I'm saying with the same caution and say I'm not a stylist either. I've never used K18, but I like Olaplex for my hair because it helps my telephone cord coils retain a better shape, especially in the midshaft, than when I wasn't using it. I also do not have color. I do know that the two products work differently in that Olaplex strengthens disulfide bonds, and K18 fills in protein gaps or bonds. I would have to read more about it but for me, the K18 cost is too much. Olaplex lasts me almost all year since I only use it once a month, and I buy it during the holiday sale in December when I can get the 8oz bottle. I understand what you mean when you said you don't want to be shackled to your stylist. I don't have a stylist, and I chose to get a lot of haircare books including some of the ones that stylists use in cosmetology school so that I could do a better job of taking care of my hair beyond what I learned from my mom.
To me Olaplex is beautiful luxury Haircare. I have the whole line even 1 and 2. It’s wonderful to use but do you need it? Nope? When the bottles are empty I won’t re-purchase. For my hair hydrolysed protein repairs my hairs and keeps it healthy and full. I am not talking about aphogee. I balance with moisture so the product is actually both strengthening and softening. Olaplex has no protein so for my fine strands does not move mountains. Even a good cheap DC with protein is good. I have no access to any stylist in Australia
